See we are on the list of being one of the most depressing teams to support.
Nice one Everton.

We didn't need survey to tell us that. The only surprise is that they rank 9 teams as worse than us!
While Allardyce is not wholly to blame, he has helped to keep us up there in the depression table.
Allardyce Out!

We're better then Hull now, better then they have ever been, so no, we shouldnt aspire to play as well as Hull.

Your right about Watford but your also speculating on what might of happened, but what did happen was he showed how mentally weak he is, just look at the abuse Sam takes and he isnt fazed in the slightest, but SIlva goes week at the knees and cant cope, this is a hard league and Silva isnt even close to being cut out for it, as two clubs have found out, lets not be the third
The day he became Hulls manager they sold there 2 best players, Hull started the league with 18 players I think, they gave him no money and he nearly saved them.

As for Watford who knows what really happened.

Jose
Conte
Pep

They won the league and I’m sure there’s others
But top 6 would do for next season

I feared as much. Did they inherit squads as bad as the one Sam took over? Nothing further need be said regarding their remarkable success in this country, except to say using them as comparative examples of foreign managers doing well here is ludicrous. None of then would have achieved anything at Everton in 5 months with the sub standard accumulation of players we have. Of course none would have taken the job anyway.

There is just no way can any member on any forum be truly in the know about what is going to happen to Allardyce. The only person who knows that is Moshiri and maybe Kenwright and they are not exactly going to start telling people or even friends about that decision so that rumours can spread and eventually reach Allardyce. The member might have been in the know about lots of other things such as transfers and the like but i just cannot see how they could possibly know about what is happening to Allardyce even if they were his best friend.

Nobody knows until an announcement is made, which will be soon hopefully.

I'm not even sure Moshiri knows mate...

I do think in tandem with the bad publicity regarding the fan survey in some quarters, they are certainly going to allow him to see out the season without comment. To do otherwise would attract quite a bit of external criticism and they can do without that.

If he is leaving, then surely an announcement would come in the aftermath of the last game, or at the very latest within a week or two of it?

The thing is, if he is staying, there will be no announcement and we will be in June and some people will still be hoping for news.

I think if there is nothing by the end of May or he makes another signing, then he is here for another season.

At least the World Cup will prove a nice distraction.

Agreed Dave, I also think if it is Silva he have a point to prove after Hull and Watford
Silva would 100% improve the quality of football.

We have a manager right now who cant even appreciate the chance-creating averse brand of anti-football he serves up is lacking in any way shape or form. I'd literally rather have the dullard Moyes back than put up with Allardyce....and that's from someone who'd rather stick his hands in a blender than have Moyes back.

The fear for me with him is that he wasn’t able to pick his Watford side up from a low point after our approach. It would’ve shown much more character were he able to turn it around and get them performing again.

Were it the case that the players gave up on him because they sensed he didn’t want to be there, then that’s pretty unprofessional
OK I understand that mate.

Perhaps the real problem was that he found it hard to pick himself up after the disappointment of his employers not letting him come to us. He was on a relatively short term contract, so it's not as if Watford had expressed any great loyalty in him (although just the number of managers they've had in recent years would tell us that). They had been offered more than double the compensation they would be entitled to under a tribunal, and we can assume that he had expressed his wish to go, so you can understand he would be upset. He's human, as most managers are.

As a matter of interest, his record with Watford after the Everton game (which is when it all started) until he was dismissed was 11 points from 13 matches. His successors record is 12 points from 13 matches. Perhaps you need to give Some credit to Silva for his record with these players before he had his head turned.

At the end of the day, the fact that Silva has remained silent about everything and not gone to the papers with his side of the story, suggests that there is an element of dignity to his character. Something that can't be said about our incumbent manager.;)

Like I said I am not opposed to him coming onboard but I don't want a guy not willing to see the thing out. I personally still believe it will be Fonesca but not completely opposed to silva.

I don't think we're guaranteed this whichever manager we take on mate. I'd rather have Fonseca too. In fact there's probably a whole list of managers I'd rather have, but not all of them are realistic sadly. Not that we shouldn't enquire about them if they are available mind you. You never know, offer enough salary and they may be up to a challenge.;)
