None of this is "fapping themselves into oblivion over Big Sam having us in 8th place" though is it? Its another massive exaggeration.

What are you on about when talking about dismissing the majority? I don't want Allardyce myself, I have said this countless times, but because I am not readying the pitch fork or burning an effigy of him I am "dismissing the majority"?

All I said was there is not one person made up that Allardyce has got us to 8th. There are obviously some who are "ok" with it though, 10% by the looks of it. Conversely why is it OK for you to dismiss them if you want to go that route?

I am sick of Evertonians having a go at each other which is the main reason for me that he has to go and also why its vital that our next manager is not divisive.

I think (their CL Run) shows how important it is for the club and its fans to be behind the Manager, you cannot be successful if everyone isn't going in the same direction, when was the last time you heard our fans sing "Were on the march with xxxx's Army" for example?
You cannot quote stats etc. You either believe in a manager and what he is doing or you don't and we haven't for a long time that is what needs fixing.

What you actually said in your post was not one person has done that

Zero.

I thought you were responding to the last line of the OP implying many of our fans have small time ambition for our club.

Ah right. No I meant the fapping thing. I don't think anyone is delighted with what is happening. A small amount of people are generally OK with it and that's about it.

I think people are just ramping things up do to the situation and everything that is said gets blown out of proportion. For example me saying that our problems started way before Allardyce doesn't mean I love the bloke or anything. Just trying to inject a dose of realism when people are saying our performances against the top sides has been awful this season like its an anomaly or something, when its not, its pretty much par for the course.

I was being generous, I agree he should never have been allowed near the first team after getting sent home from training.
I agree. But a pragmatist would say the opposite, especially if they came in after the incident and it had been dealt with. Having said that he'd be on my get shut list as of that moment.

Yes, stick it to them!

I genuinely would like to know who Neill would suggest as manager.

I would love to form a group including Neville, Ratcliffe, Joe Royle., Usworth, Reid and maybe Kevin Campbell to see who they would recommend.
I was going to say a similar thing. I'd love to know who the likes of Big Nev would get in. The only fear now is that a lot of those names are probably a couple if generations out of touch in footballing terms.

Wouldnt matter,we have a manager a couple of generations out of touch anyway

I know the echo journalists talk a lot of [Poor language removed], especially prentice. He said on the last podcast, Fonseca isn’t on the short list anymore but silva is

Here`s this weeks ins and outs rumours mate, some fuelled by ITK, some fuelled by journos, some fuelled by wums.

Sam is out.
Sam is staying.

Fonseca is coming.
Fonseca isn`t coming.

Silva is coming.
Silva isn`t coming.

Van Gal is coming.
Van Gal isn`t coming.

When it happens, it`ll happen quickly.

Until then no one knows.

My post was more coming from keeping Allardyce next season taking a very safe and secure position with little or no chance of advancement. So we're talking about completely different issues.

On the subject of the top 6, it would be interesting to see how we've done against them season on season since Man City became a force.

Did Everton fans really give BFFS a warm reception at the awards evening?

Who are these people?

I think that might have been a bit of a positive spin from the red echo mate.

They don’t want to be in the back of the queue when the pies are being given out in the main stand you know.

Completely contrary to reports that have been trickling out of the press for nigh-on 12 months now. How can he just suddenly not be on the shortlist anymore?

There are lots of managers out there mate. Many expect to be available during the summer but liots more under contract and doing well at other clubs..

You're the one who has restricted the shopping list to 2. Emery or Allardyce.
True, but I cannot remember any other name being mentioned anywhere apart from Tuchel... and he isn't interested apparently.

Undoubtedly there are plenty of good managers, but how attractive are we and realistically what level are we pitching at ?

My preference would be a manager from the Spanish, German or Italian leagues and the top teams in the premiership is well stocked with managers that came from there.
