Did Everton fans really give BFFS a warm reception at the awards evening?

Who are these people?
There was a report there was a few jeers when he took the stage!

Ah right. No I meant the fapping thing. I don't think anyone is delighted with what is happening. A small amount of people are generally OK with it and that's about it.

I think people are just ramping things up do to the situation and everything that is said gets blown out of proportion. For example me saying that our problems started way before Allardyce doesn't mean I love the bloke or anything. Just trying to inject a dose of realism when people are saying our performances against the top sides has been awful this season like its an anomaly or something, when its not, its pretty much par for the course.
Gone through past seasons results against the top 6 mate going back to 2010/11 season. Here's the figures.

11/12 W5 D4 L3 Points 19
12/13 W3 D1 L8 Points 10
12/13 W2 D6 L4 Points 12
13/14 W4 D3 L5 Points 15
14/15 W1 D3 L8 Points 7
15/16 W1 D5 L6 Points 8
16/17 W2 D4 L6 Points 10
17/18 W0 D4 L8 Points 4

So yeah, apart from back in the Moyes knife to a gunfight days we've never come out on top against the top 6, and it's debatable how "top 6" Man City actually were in those days. But realistically, isn't that to be expected to a degree. We could never compete with the big boys on transfer fees and salaries.

But I have to say it has been worse this year than normal. It's the first season we haven't won a single game and, in fairness, haven't remotely looked likely to. We have basically been given a footballing lesson by the big teams this season evidenced by the for and against stat of 6 v 30.

I now you're not one for stats mate but these ones don't mask the truth.

And this isn't a go at Sam per se. Koeman was in charge for 5 of those games. It's just highlighting the fact that it has been a bit worse than usual this season.

Here`s this weeks ins and outs rumours mate, some fuelled by ITK, some fuelled by journos, some fuelled by wums.

Sam is out.
Sam is staying.

Fonseca is coming.
Fonseca isn`t coming.

Silva is coming.
Silva isn`t coming.

Van Gal is coming.
Van Gal isn`t coming.

When it happens, it`ll happen quickly.

Until then no one knows.
Everton don't do quickly

The biggest thing with Sam is that he plays such a negative style of ball that top quality players aren't going to want to come here to play that. That just makes us still in that best of the rest crowd instead of pushing that top 6 group. Didn't want Allardyce from the very start because I know he can't attract top talent. For all of Koeman's faults he still attracted players with his Barca roots and Sam can't touch that.
