Also factor in, will he be here past the Summer too ?
Sam is a very experienced manager maybe as a stop gap - TBH watching that last night Sam has fetched us stability, and luck - woodwork, pens, etc - The brand of football for now is like taking Mogadon - he will be given funds for January - we do have such an unbalanced squad and he is making do - my question is long term will he take us on to play great football - as I have never seen a team he managed do that!

The ball is in his court Joey, as if he doesn`t get us playing sexy football at some point, the Mosh will go and get a sexy foreigner.

My horn is famous throughout the world mate.
That was the point you were making wasn't it ?

Anyway, another game, another win.

There's likely a fair amount of "new manager" effect here, and we've rode our luck at times, but two or three weeks ago I had, for the first time for a long time, genuine concerns about our top flight survival, and, regardless of how much the turn in fortune is down to Allardyce, we've turned it round very nicely.

I'm sure as soon as we lose a couple of games in which we play poorly the knives will be out, but, at least for a little while ( this season and likely next ), Big Sam will do for me.

I'm with you all the way. And I think your mistaking horn for tusks. If not, stay away from my fiancé.

Screw good football, I dont understand people demanding good football, I want winning football, I want what I saw the other night, pure undiluted will to win.

Looking forward to seeing what will happen once he works out the midfield and attack and brings in a couple of players.

The effect on defence already was phenomenal.

That was our legacy. I'd prefer us to create a new legacy called big Sam's 80s Wimbledon 2.0.
Our legacy sacked a manager in a taxi who played pretty football coming 4th The then chairman wanted both no,1 champions if you know your history we were formed to play the school of science football not hoof ball!
Sam has a chance for the time being his 18 month deal makes me think it's going to be a shorter appointment than that!

That's a long way away. With all city's money it took them a good 10 years to get to the level they're at now, I say them because they play the best footy. But for now we need to overlook style for substance. Nothing wrong with a bit of hoofball!

I was only kidding about the legacy. We need to be getting back to the school of science football, I don't think it'll happen overnight, Its a long process to get from where we are to were we want to be.

I want us to play like Man City, but playing long ball to a target man that sort of Man City football will be a long time coming. So I guess I'm with you ugly winning football will do for now.
