Each to there own but I’d rather see us have a go then just lump it forward and play the percentages.
That’s not very nice.
I'm guessing you'd like to see us go back to the Martinez days of pretty football with thumping defeats?

They attacked us and then noticeably tired and we punished them. That's smart management for me.
I see a lot of people saying we have been lucky. I would say you make your own luck and he seems to have installed a bit of self belief in the squad which leads to heads not dropping, fighting for everything and getting a bit of luck from it. A lot of the game is mental.
Ale house football that .
HOOF
Hooooooof...
I’d rather we were playing the right way in League 2 than win the Champions League with this hoof rubbish!!!!Some strange comments in here, it’s almost as if people want us as a club to fail (and be relegated) so they can say ‘told you so’.
I admit Allardyce was not my first choice (not even top 10 to begin with) but some of you just need to accept that he’s here now and so far, we’ll he’s done alright hasn’t he?
My only comment about last night was how we started quite defensively, at some point I do want us to take the hand brake off and go at teams, but honestly if it means we’re winning games then crack on as you were Sam!
We always expect them to spank us though, it's part of being an Everton fan not a logical conclusion based on how good they are a side. There's nothing 'ridiculously dismissive' about saying getting a point away at a side that has failed to win more than half it's home games isn't necessarily an incredible achievement. I think Allardyce has done everything that could reasonably have been asked of him so far, and he deserves credit for that. I also think that the credit should be proportionate, and it is wise to wait and see how we fare over a longer period before we start proclaiming him as the answer to our prayers like some are.
