He has been a great signing. 10 points in 4 games including a point and a penalty at Anfield is not merely good but statistically significant.

He has kept basically the same team and rewarded players for doing well. Clear, simple, effective.

He came into a crap situation and not for the first time, he's turned it around. The team is still light years from playing good football but I applaud a bloke doing a good job. The team might not beat Chelski buy I bet it gives it a go unlike the Koeman-games.

Of course the transfer choices will be important but I am pleased he is looking for a top midfielder - Ngonzi - and a number 9. And that he wants to give Sandro and mcCarthy a chance. And that Miralles is off.

All looking good.

Sam has just been live on Sky.

- Barkley, McCarthy and Bolasie all played in a closed door game yesterday and came through unscathed.
- He said that he wanted to raise Schneiderlin’s performance levels to that of his Southampton years.
- Refused to comment on a possible England recall for Rooney.
- Confirmed that the door is always open for Ross Barkley to stay. Ball in Barkley’s court.

10 from 12 isnt just good going, its Title winning form.

But yes, you are indeed correct, he didnt have 2 games a week, I mean last week we had 3 games in 8 days, 5 games in the space of 16 days.

Please attempt to make it harder.
...but every other club had that schedule. When we were in the EL with Unsworth we played teams three days after who were rested up.

Kicked off on foodbanks there.

Genuinely think I'm in love with him.

He's a fat crook though Connor so you have to absolutely despise him because then everyone on the internet will marvel at how wonderful a person you are and wish they could be half as righteous and noble as you.

I have called him a fat crook, he voted leave and I still reckon he's a fat crook but he's our fat, foodbank hating, Corbyn supporting Crook.

They'd just been routed by S'ton in the worst display any team had given in the PL this season. There was always going to be a reaction.

There hadn't been before that Wednesday night.

The reason they put in a performance was because they all knew Sam was their new boss and he was sat in the directors box watching.

Whether he spoke to them or not, knowing your new gaffer is watching you, will make you but more effort in.

Its called trying to impress.
