He's got an inferiority complex from managing too many rubbish teams.

It's all about keeping it tight and hoping to nick a goal from a set piece.

We are Everton FFS. Should be putting West Brom and Bournemouth under massive pressure.
Mush he’s taken over a rubbish team. That’s why he’s your boss right now. Maybe it’s you with the superiority complex that’s the problem not your 8 game new manager who’s just suffered his 1st defeat!

Hi mate

2-1 wasn't a bad result really was it ?

:coffee:

... and he's gone.
Well in whichever mod did that !

Very disappointing result.Think we would have got similar comments on this forum even if it finished 1-1.Some of the players are well short of premier league quality unfortunately.

I find it odd that if he was to park the bus why don't he just play 5 at the back today.

Then after getting a goal back. He took Gana off, the team was wide open and we collapsed.

He's clueless mate. West brom and bornemouth confidence level were way below us and yet we setup in such a way that our players were made to feel inferior, as if we are the 30th place team in the league, or maybe league 2 quality.

Taking off gana was a mistake no doubt. The team couldn't retrieve the ball effectively, keep losing it's shape trying to do so and Bournemouth had an easy time picking out rooney and exploiting our ineffective midfield.

Yes awful players but he played 3 DM. He moaned about players getting tired but reluctant to rotate DCL and yet played the crap pairing in Keane and Jagielka while totally ignore Vlasic and Lookman.

His tactics was negative in the beginning (today) but we became so wide open when Gana was subbed. Really really strange.

Against Chelsea, Keane and Jagielka kept them at bay for the first 45 minutes. Sam wanted to play with a second forward in the second half, and brought on Sandro and Williams at half time. The back three of Keane, Jagielka and Williams kept Chelsea out for the rest of the game.

One strange thing about today was the possession; Bournemouth 47% Everton 53%.

And Bournemouth were carving us open long before Gana went off.

Posted at 15:41 Bournemouth 1-0 Everton; Everton can't say that's not been coming. As they have done many times today, Bournemouth burst forward at pace and this time Wilson and King unwrapped the Toffees' defence with aplomb.

Posted at 46 mins Food for thought Bournemouth 1-0 Everton; A penny for Big Sam's thoughts? His side have been comfortably second best and aside from being carved open too easily by the vibrant hosts, they have created precious little themselves.

Posted at 71 mins SUBSTITUTION Bolasie for Gueye Bournemouth 1-1 Everton

The team selections of the last 2 games against some of the worst teams in the league is baffling. I really wanted to give this guy a chance but after that dross and playing crap players when there are others who are better and dont even make the bench is baffling. Hopefully he’ll be binned in the summer

The Koeman sacking/replacement was completely botched. There really isn't a good reason to expect Allardyce to outperform his career winning pct (roughly 39% I think) though he's here now so at best we can hope for a decent window and solid mid table finish.

The challenge comes in the summer as I don't think he is fit to help the team progress long term.

I don't fancy Allardyce but don't hate him either, I also don't think Moshiri wants him long term and I think it will likely be best for all if he is paid off in the summer.
