There are teams equally as bad as we were before he took over right now. Look at Newcastle. One win in eight and they still aren’t in the bottom 3.

I’m judging him on what I’m watching now, and he is serving up the most turgid football I have seen. He is bringing Moyes’ knife into every single game. Treats the likes of Bournemouth and West Brom like we’re going to the Nou Camp.

OUT.
To be fair, we’ve been playing turgid football all season. At least now we’re fairly solid at the back.

Are we? We just taken one point from two games against teams in the relegation zone, with Man Utd next up.

I believe Fat Sam’s good fortune is over. We will have to rely on his tactical nous for the rest of the season - a scary thought.

He's got us 8 points ahead of Newcastle who are in a real dog fight, were would you rather be ?
the football is bad but he was brought in to get us out of a big mess and he's doing it quickly.
it's not even his team, not even one player yet people are crucifying him for getting us out of trouble.

Hahahaha please don’t count ye chickens you absolute hoofball merchant

Sam Allardyce admits he won't see the best of his Everton side until next season

Sam Allardyce admits that he will not see the best of his Everton team until next season.

The Toffees boss saw his seven-match unbeaten run come to an end at the hands of Bournemouth on Saturday as Ryan Fraser's double cancelled out Idrissa Gueye's strike.

Allardyce is hoping to sign Turkish striker Cenk Tosun in January and is targeting a further two signings, but he admitted it will take a good while longer to mould the team to his image.

"The start of next season. When it’s all been sorted out in the summer," he said when asked how long it would be before he had the side the way he wanted them.

"There’s a lot to do, to sort out and to find out about the players. Then we will sit and talk to the owners and the board. See where we go.

No mate he's not getting crucified just people that do acknowledge he has us (atm) to relative safety.
We accept the turgid , dogged football he has dished up to get us out of a mess.
But now playing safety first hoofball with 3 holding midfielders against WBA & Bournemouth we expect a lot lot more.
Christ....up to today they had won 6 games between them all season.
The quicker he leaves the better.

United look like they will be without Lukaku, Zlatan, Fellaini, Young (presuming he gets a ban for today’s elbow), Bailly, Smalling, Valencia and Carrick so I’d like to hope we’d try to win the game rather than just trying to nick a point from the start.
Brilliant, now we've just got Lingard, De Gea, Rashford and Anthony sodding Martial to worry about.

And this is why this appointment is terrible. Same old excuse. He's gone, then the next appointment will want his players and around this merry go round cycle we go again.
Clueless, logic-defying "18-month" appointment this.
Moshiri is once again showing he has no idea how to take Everton forward on field.

Is it really logic defying though? IMO the stadium is the #1 priority of the club. We were headed down which would have killed the stadium. This appointment was to buy time.
