If we had real direction, then the DoF would dictate the style of play for all age groups. The players should be signed for that style and the 'coach' (not manager) appointed to train them.
Instead we seem to have a mix of all things.

Patience!!! he has been here 5 minutes got us up to 9th. Sod the hoofball for a moment and lets just get back on track and go from there. We played garbage under Koeman and Unsworth and yes they probably had more shots on goal than Alladyce but look at the shots against and goals against under alladyce in comparison. Do you want points or to get thrashed game after game.

Well he’s got 2 points from the last 12 on offer, so.....

Thought we were better tonight just hope he adopts the same tactic of attacking when we have it but with a bit more quality. I hope he doesn't revert to negativity because we are better than that there's being solid and there's being negative to the point that when you have the ball you turn over possession too quickly.

3 wins in 8 for Unsworth (including Norwich) with brutal away games: GET OUT NOW BOOOOOOOOOOOO NEW BOSS NOW FARHAD
3 wins in 10 for Allardyce (away games at WBA, Bournemouth, Newcastle): 'Need to be patient'
We panicked mate pure and simple. What we should have done was appoint Unsworth till the end of the season from word go. Then sort out the new manager well before the end of season ready to go straight away. Allardyce was Walsh’s choice which also tells you that he needs to go as well.

The truth is, the few who are not behind Sam are the minority by a long way.

If that's anywhere near true then that sums up my ideas about this club. We are going absolutely nowhere and it's not changing anytime soon. Accept our status as the also rans. Brilliant the way we gave Liverpool a game without their best players...

Am I the only one that dreams back of days when we were broke but bought good players into a squad that was tactically sound!!!!

Them wuz the days.

Cahill, Arteta, Seamus, Pienaar, Fellaini, Stones, Jags, Kev.....even more recently with Lukaku, Deulefeou and Holgate.

Since the alleged money came into the club our recruitment has went south as the money we spent has gone north.

Maybe the minority, but not by a long way. Of course all Evertonians are behind the manager in the sense that they want us to win. But I know a lot of people who are already sick of his brand of football, and a lot who didn’t want him to begin with.

I think you are confusing two issues here, Pro.

The majority, the vast majority, will always be behind the manager, no matter who he is.

(At least until that manager gets to the dog days of his reign and it is obvious s change is needed)

But I don't think there are very many actively want that manager to be Sam.

Certainly not on the anecdotal evidence I gather on matchdays and in my conversations with Blues in my normal day to day life.

Nor indeed on GOT.

I thought his set up was OK today and thought his sub of Lookman for Rooney paid dividends by moving Gylfi central.

That counter was a thing of beauty but until Lookman came on our only option forward that worked was Bolasie...absolutely zero threat from anywhere but the right wing.

So...how can we set up with both Rooney and Gylfi central? Neither has the pace to be a wide player.

How many games can we win to avoid relegation but also to ensure that he gets sacked? That's exactly my view right now.
