Yay, spend more money, that panacea that has worked so wonderfully for us.... oh, and for your house of horrors.

No need to coach and improve when you can just lash the cash again.

We haven’t got the time anymore to coach and improve. That’s what the summer or potential winter break does. Games are flying at us.

..sorry, Matey, you’re probably right. I don’t particularly look at evidence, I just say what I see.

But it is stuff like this you keep saying

I fear some simply won’t give Allardyce a chance because he’s Allardyce.

That's palpably nonsense.

He's won 3 games in 10. You've described that as miracle working.

The football is long, direct, up and under from the back. We're top of the rankings for it.

2 shots on target in the last four games.

You can say "I'm not looking at the evidence" but that just shows you are repeating incorrect statements. It's daft.

We've had 17 less efforts on goal than the second worst team (Swansea) since Sam arrived. We're last by a long way.

And you were a guy always saying we need to carry threat!!

It's so far as expected for me so far. New manager bounce, experience long blip like we are in the middle of at the minute, drop team back into trouble, win a couple in late March to ease the pressure. Seen it all before.

This is exactly the FS effect at every club. If he’s not gone summer I really really will cry.

..I don’t disagree, Tim, but you can’t turn this lot into Barcelona. We’re a poor side playing dire football. That was the case before Allardyce, the difference now is that he’s at least got them into some type of shape and picking up points.

Nope of course not.

But anyone unable to make our players match Swansea for goal threat is incompetent.

I guess some of your fans would rather have £10m Marco Silva who's bubble has well and truly burst a bullet well dodged. Once Sam brings in another player or 2 to give your side balance the football going forward will improve bookmark it
Silva’s bubble has burst because he isn’t happy that Watford didn’t let him go. I’d be annoyed, too.

2 in the last 12, 6 conceded in the last three with just two scored, etc etc

Having gone out last night, we've got 16 games until mid-May. That's plenty of time.

Others are advocating giving Allardyce / Walsh yet more cash to spend. It's a terrible approach.

Like I said to Tim, now is the time I’d expect to see improvements offensively in our play. One game per week, we can do more now.

Listen, we have him till the end of the season regardless, so let’s see what we look like after this window! We will have a striker and should have a left back too hopefully, and that could make a huge difference to the way we perform. If it doesn’t, then fair enough we clamour to get him binned in the summer!

..it’s not good, but I doubt any manager could make this group more expansive whilst still picking up points. I agree it’s not pretty but the squad is totally unbalanced. Allardyce has got us in a decent position but I really don’t know what the 2nd half of the season will bring.

This side has won 5 of its last 20 games, so he'd do pretty well not to manage some improvement with a week between games.
