It's a fact. Is saying that water freezes at 32 degrees 'cherry picking"?

Do not know about picking cherries but yesterday our so called footballers were a disgrace, should have the month's wages deducted and then a cold look needs to be made of them and kick out the rubbish no matter who they are. If they do not want to pull their finger out for Everton then they can go and stick it their arse and go somewhere else.

This is unarguable: Unsworth's brief tenure lifted us out of the relegation zone. We were down there when he started, we were out of it and within touching distance of midtable when he finished his stint.

The rest of "the facts" (subjective assertions mostly) dont really cut across that.

Still missing the point. Change in league position is not enough to fairly and comprehensively evaluate a short managerial tenure. The main flaw in it being that you completely abstract from opposition and performance.

But you’re well aware of that: it’s why you didn’t answer the question about how many points you expected from the games under Allardyce and Unsworth.

You cant rely on comparing status of opposition played...what if the higher ranked clubs were in a slump when played and a similar placed club in the table to us were enjoying a good run?

League position and points gained are the only certain metric.

That would be the worst thing I would have ever seen from an Everton board, to start a season with the mindset of fighting relegation, oh dear.
I hope he's still here.
That would mean all the no marks would have been jibbed off and we could start to actually rebuild this utter mess.

Points gained depend on opposition form too. So you contradict yourself.

But that’s beside the point. Give me a number of points per game you expected from Unsworth and from Allardyce.

You won’t give it because you know that Unsie lost games we could’ve expected to get points from, and Allardyce has so far gained points from matches we’d be expected to lose.

Again not a defence of Allardyce, but your argument that he’s not an improvement on Unsie and Koeman is really, really weak.
