My issue is as well, that Sam will leave this club and squad in a worse way when he leaves judging by the links we are having if they come off, it will be significantly worse laboured with injury prone players and players who aren't good enough.

The issue is though, is that the club allows it to happen - Walsh architects all this while he is meant to be looking at the long term success of the club, while buying players and appointing managers who are going to contribute to the long term vision of the club.

Its all jus rotten at the moment, and the core is getting worse.

Every club he has managed bar 2 have gone down within 2 seasons of him leaving, one of the remaining two West ham has shown a downward spiral since, the other remaining is palace who hodgson has exploded the myth of allardyce by doing a far better job in worse circumstances.

Yep am not holding much hope for the near future while this mess is sorted out... top to bottom I mean too, not just the removal of sam.

Walsh was on the ropes, I know this to be true... but the sheer panic that was created at the club when Koeman was failing, and then when the mess of a manager pursuit resulted in Sam being appointed, all its done is solidify his place at the club.

He is responsible for the long term planning of the club, to me his recruitment and planning for the future have been near on embarrassing and if I failed so badly at my job I would expect to be removed.

The fact is he has made his place stronger with Sam... oh, and of course all the deals will be 100% above board, its not a coincidence that agents sam likes and worked with a few times are contacting us with players he has had before.....

Problem now us where the voice is gonna come from telling that Walsh is inept, not from the manager for sure, elstone no chance he's more concerned with his own incompetence and hiding it, bill isn't arsed and I'm sure of that.

Club will be fleeced, saddled with dross we can't shift and become a poisoned chalice no decent manager will go near, the legacy of Walsh and bfs

Well this season has been a complete and utter disaster from the start with absolutely nothing salvageable and a hell of a lot of work to do to start building back up to even where we were 3/4 years ago. Allardyce won't be here next season, he was brought in to do a specific job, same as he has been for the last 10 years of his career.

That’s the problem, there was no job to do that any half decent manager wouldn’t have done.

He was brought because of mass panic, and has predicted had a little up turn in fortunes before plummeting us down the table. He’s now talking relegation battle, yet not 5 months ago was telling everyone how easy it would be by going “back to basics”

The man is a charlatan who lives off deceit, takes credit for issues he’s caused and he’s causing a bigger one now. He’ll be here next season, don’t kid yourself. His best bud has the ear of the board and they’ll be talking “the big project”, “time to adapt to his playing ways” and the “unfinished Newcastle job”.

I personally can’t wait till we play West Brom, we were that attacking at Spurs he’s going to reign it in

He had a little time before January to assess the squad and bang heads with Walsh and use the January window to fill in the weak positions. Every Everton fan knows we desperately need a Striker, Midfielder and Left Back and I am not using the word 'desperately' lightly. We are now half way through January and we have a striker in and that's it. I feel this should have been covered in the first week of January. If BFS wanted a shot at extending his contract then he should have been busy in the market by now. He is shooting himself in the foot. Walsh should have already had a list of players required and also back ups to them. They are not performing very well and I can see a last day blitz in the market when it should have already been sorted with priority signings.

We've been through this many times already. You might not want to acknowledge it, but our squad is a disgrace. A massively lopsided, unbalanced, paceless mess lacking any creativity and decent centre backs. One left footed outfield player in a 25 man squad. ONE.

Why is this always the answer to the people who didn’t want Allarydce???
Because its relevant? Those who didn't want him seem to be suffering from the shared delusion that top managers with numerous trophies on their CVs were battering at the doors of Finch Farm to sign on the dotted line.We are a mid table club with the very occasional chance of making the early knock out stages of the EL once or twice a decade.

While that may or may not be true... Sam Allardyce doesn't even fit the role of a manager of a club of that description.....

We didn't go very far past our shores in a manager search, Walsh was panicking about relegation and forced Moshiri's hand.

Totally agree with that, however I do agree with the other poster - I think any competent manager could have come in and worked on the defence and shored it up for a few games, the difference might just have been what came out the other side like we are seeing now.

pie in the sky like, but just my opinion

So when he left,a couple of seasons later the players on mass became rubbish and he's solely to blame. The board and players of the said clubs get a free pass?

Seems Walsh read the situation accurately given our last group of results.

Completely wrong!! No top manager will come here, but a young upcoming manager most deffo would either from the championship, French league, Portuguese league, German league etc, I would take Martinez back before Allarydce, I would rather have a punt on a Gary Rowett. Sam Allarydce guarantees FAILURE and a brand of football that should not be seen at any level never mind premiership, and we are witnessing it now.

It’s painful to watch and embarrassing the club have stooped so low!

They need to put an end this soon, very soon.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind now that what we seen after the appointment of Allardyce was a short term bounce effect which is quite common with new Managers and it was accompanied by quite a bit of luck such as with penalties etc. That wore off at Christmas and what we have seen since is the real Sam Allardyce accompanied by the same incompetent team and hierarchy. I honestly cringe every time i see him or hear him speak now. What sort of Manager comes out with statements like we attacked too much and we need to get more boring when we are in fact the most negative and boring team in the league and had no shots on target in the last game and have only had about 3 shots on target in about the last 6 games. He is already paving the way for a coming relegation battle as that is all he is capable of and experienced at.

I dont even want him in charge for the rest of this season, never mind next season. He is bringing nothing but shame and embarrassment to the club and all its supporters. We are a laughing stock now not just to the red half of Merseyside but to the whole country. The club is completely rotten to the core and especially the Hierarchy. Obviously nothing is going to change this season now so we just have to hope that we get at least 4 more wins somehow out of the last 15 games to ensure our safety. Even just 4 wins seems a tough target when you consider how bad we are. It is difficult to see us getting 4 shots on target in 15 games, never mind 4 wins.

The only way forward for Everton after this season is a complete reset and clean out from the top down. Cannot see that happening somehow as there is really only 1 person capable of making that happen and he shows very few signs of competency and awareness.

Sorry for all the negativeness and pessimism blues but its always better to be realistic than live in some sort of false fantasy.

Wretched time to be an Evertonian this.
