Some fans seem to think he’s going to do something different than what he has for the past 20 years!! He won’t, he is what he is!! A man who operates around 18th-14th
He'd win the World Cup if he managed Real Madrid though.

A place where fear rules. His ideal location. Boards too scared to sack him, prepared to back his awful short termist transfers. Some fans seem to think he’s going to do something different than what he has for the past 20 years!! He won’t, he is what he is!! A man who operates around 18th-14th
Cristiano lad, listen to me, if you get into their half again, I'll wipe that grim off your face. Bloody hell Luca, get your hair cut and start launching it. Your not paid to keep it on the floor you know. He'd win the World Cup if he managed Real Madrid though.
His ego would actually have him believe that! He'd win the World Cup if he managed Real Madrid though.

I'm not suited to Bolton or Blackburn, I would be more suited to Internazionale or Real Madrid," "It wouldn't be a problem to me to go and manage those clubs because I would win the Double or the league every time.
"Give me Manchester United or Chelsea and I would do the same, it wouldn't be a problem. It's not where I'm suited to, it's just where I've been for most of the time. It's not a problem to take me into the higher reaches of the Champions League or Premier League and would make my job a lot easier in winning it."
I think that is MASSSIVELY overrated. Klopp(terribly defensive but can at least attack, a better Martinez if you will), Pochettino, Conte, Mourinho, Guardiola, Puel, Silva. Yes, Poch and Mourinho are "PL tested" but they werent when they came in. Those are all foreign managers in the top 10 along with Wenger.Young unknown foreign manager with.no Premiership experience when we were losing and conceding goals for fun...genius!
Big Fat Fraudulent Sam the gravy guzzling buffoon whose tactics went out of vogue around about the time the dinosaurs died out. £6 million a year wage for a man who thinks that not having a sniff of a shot at goal isn't boring enough. Get out of my club Big Fat Sam.
Football is a game where you get 11 players to defend against another team and also fashion an attacking threat. The more you do the latter, the less you have to do the former, and supporters tend to prefer it. I know our players are not the greatest and that there is imbalance in the squad and some positions are woefully under strength, but there should be enough quality and nous in them to get them to not capitulate and/ or underperform like they have been for the last few matches. Get out of my club Big Fat Sam.
When did we turn into such a lunatic asylum of a club?

Hit the nail on the head here mate! I hate all the negative posts as well but it is just pointing out the truth. We are trying to get into the top 4/6. And we appoint Big Sam as our manager. Yes I know people will say he is here just to steady the ship etc and keep us up but my point is that if we want to become a team that is regularly fighting at the top of the league then we need to act like it. Can you imagine Man U, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs etc hiring Big Sam? We need to buy the players to match what the top 6 teams do. We need to spend more money like the top 6 do. We need a new stadium and we need to hire better managers. We are moving in the right direction with some of these things (or so I thought) until the crash horror of this season happened. And just finish it off we hire Big Sam. What a crazy time we are living in, Trump is President of the good old USA and Big Sam is the boss at Everton! I never thought I would see the day. It feels like someone has said to me, "what's that over there?" I've turned my head and whilst I'm looking the other way I get booted in the nuts by Giant Haystacks wearing metal toe capped boots! Only to realise that it ain't Giant Haystacks who's done me but Big Sam! He smiles and says, "Hoofed ya!"There is absolutely no doubt in my mind now that what we seen after the appointment of Allardyce was a short term bounce effect which is quite common with new Managers and it was accompanied by quite a bit of luck such as with penalties etc. That wore off at Christmas and what we have seen since is the real Sam Allardyce accompanied by the same incompetent team and hierarchy. I honestly cringe every time i see him or hear him speak now. What sort of Manager comes out with statements like we attacked too much and we need to get more boring when we are in fact the most negative and boring team in the league and had no shots on target in the last game and have only had about 3 shots on target in about the last 6 games. He is already paving the way for a coming relegation battle as that is all he is capable of and experienced at.
I dont even want him in charge for the rest of this season, never mind next season. He is bringing nothing but shame and embarrassment to the club and all its supporters. We are a laughing stock now not just to the red half of Merseyside but to the whole country. The club is completely rotten to the core and especially the Hierarchy. Obviously nothing is going to change this season now so we just have to hope that we get at least 4 more wins somehow out of the last 15 games to ensure our safety. Even just 4 wins seems a tough target when you consider how bad we are. It is difficult to see us getting 4 shots on target in 15 games, never mind 4 wins.
The only way forward for Everton after this season is a complete reset and clean out from the top down. Cannot see that happening somehow as there is really only 1 person capable of making that happen and he shows very few signs of competency and awareness.
Sorry for all the negativeness and pessimism blues but its always better to be realistic than live in some sort of false fantasy.
Wretched time to be an Evertonian this.
Something stinks with this group of players, something is rotten with them.
Exactly. We bought a LOT of players from inside the PL and were told 'we don't have to wait for them to acclimate to the PL', yet they are crap and the discussion is then changed to 'well they don't know each other so they need time'.It is the same with players. No evidence that players signed from PL clubs do better than those from foreign leagues. Complete myth yet people repeat it every transfer window and use it to justify things like £45m Gylfi.
The board will keep him for more than just this season. The only way for them not to is if we go down. I really hope I'm wrong but just look at the pattern the Everton Board has of keeping managers way too long. I can't believe we hired him in the first place. It is an embarrassment to the club and shows the rest of the football world where we are really at. I used to argue that Everton where fighting to be part of the top six but the truth is, we aren't (or at least we aren't anymore). And that hurts for me to write that, all the way down to my blue centre.
We sell our best players and buy the cast off players from the teams that are better than us. Thinking this is going to get us into the top 4 or 6. And to make things worse we hire mangers that aren't top six managers. For me this is the worst and lowest point for at least 30 years.
