My 14 year old daughter who's been to Goodison with me a few times since 2015 has just told me "I don't want to watch Everton again until Allardyce has gone."
It hasn't taken her 30+ years of watching The Blues to know just how bad a manager of our great club he is.
I'm actually rather proud of her for making such an observation but I suspect she will be there like a shot when I next have a ticket for her!

He’s brought in two attacking players now for nearly £50m. We’ll soon see his credentials as a manager.

I was also a big fan of the Europa, I love going the games on Thursdays and then the pub after it, but the Thursday-Sunday takes it out of both the players and the fans. Nothing worse than Sunday afternoon football.

Let’s hope someone crap wins the FA Cup, so we can finish 7th and not get Europe! It actually happened to us when we finished 6th a few years ago.

Bring the Europa on, say I.

If Thursday/Sunday is a problem then we should forget about trying to get in the CL as it is no different to Wednesday/Saturday or Saturday/Tuesday

:pint2:

No 7th he’s gone, in fact even 4th........
Isn't that just the comedy short termism we deride other clubs for?

Do we really want to go further down the road of self entitlement that comes with sacking our managet every season/6 months because we aren't playing like Barcalona or Man City and we finish slightly lower in the league than expected?

We are Everton, we are better than all that.

Surely it's a matter of self respect.

Good on YER ! I Totally agree mate :)

I am new on GOT and being out of the country for a number of years dont have the luxury of my EFC mates being around to debate the ins and outs of my passion EFC over a pint or two
Therefore came across GOT by chance ,decided I needed to join GOT in November 17

Baesed on the above since joining GOT been wary of getting into debates , - but after reading all the negativity around EFC in general whether the Board . Manager , New Stadium , I believe this can get out of hand as well as under my skin I thought what the hell lets go for broke - and to air my views for whats its worth on this thread !

" Sam was not my first choice but I believe Sam has done a good job on what he inherited " - I wanted Simoene - ( wishful thinking )

Sure there were many other candadites which I dont have time to go into the ins and outs but from what I recall they were either pie in the sky rumours , bookies covering their odds , didnt want to come , or bad timing mid season ?
Also DA SILVA & DYCHE - two of the media and GOT poll contenders for a long period way ahead of Sam -( have a look at there win / draw loss ration since end November when Sam was appointed ) ?

He has a more than capable front three now. You can forgive him complaining about Lennon DCL Niasse but he now has Bolasie Tosun Walcott two of which are his signings. He must now start to show that he can service them. McCarthy is back. Barkley has been sold. It’s only Coleman Baines and Funes Mori unavailable now, he needs to start showing that he can make the team play.

Who is she supporting the club or the manager. Point out to her the club needs her, cheering the players on.
