Isn't that just the comedy short termism we deride other clubs for?

Do we really want to go further down the road of self entitlement that comes with sacking our managet every season/6 months because we aren't playing like Barcalona or Man City and we finish slightly lower in the league than expected?

We are Everton, we are better than all that. Surely it's a matter of self respect.

True. All we have to do is appoint a good, ambitious manager and stick with him/her.

Stop making mischief Buckethead with your exaggeration.

It’s obvious to all that peteblue does not want sam here under any circumstance, like many of us, full stop.

With hindsight, I’d have kept Koeman here until a competent, long term replacement could be found, again, like many of us.

If anyone is betraying our hallowed history, it’s certain member(s) of the board flapping over their investment.

and when they struggle in their second season? We've done that twice in the last couple of years, one got another season and fell to peices even more, the other failed miserably and had to be put out of his misery very quickly.

We need a manager now who will at least provide a bit of stability for a couple of years while the Club sorts itself out both off the pitch and on it, which will make it attractive to the sort of Top Class Players and Managers we can't attract at the moment.

We sacked Matinez, we hired Koeman who was kicked out after just over a season, Sam takes over and now people want him gone and another taking over.
There is no point changing Manager quickly, it just ends up a large squad of players the new manager doesn't want and players not caring because they know they just have to wait 6 months for the next Manager to turn up.

Keep Koeman get relegated and bring in a competent long term replacement - " brilliant "

'We are Everton we are better than that' the kind of ridiculous statement we need to stay clear of.

We need a manager who can offer football which will attract the fans.

Sam isn't doing that, and I don't think he will.

We wouldn’t have been any worse off in our performances than we are now and besides, with the appropriate advice and guidance, the Board would have selected the right man for the job, preferably before the end of the season.

Anybody who believes that sam is the way forward, is just deluding themselves IMHO, of course.
