I dont get your stance on this. I accept it, but for someone who has previously talked a lot of sense on football matters it amazes me that you back this football Visigoth.

Because I think the damage Koeman did was catastrophic and we're in a safe pair of hands.

Untill we amend what Koeman did (80% of his signings needed binning) I think football takes a back burner for me.

I want most of Koeman's signings out. If Sam gets a few in that fit a system (I think Walcott and Tosun are good signings to start) that's a far better direction to build on than what we are now... lacking identity.

That will happen next year. He's only been in charge of 12 games with an awful squad that isn't his.

I just think getting someone else in doesn't really steady anything.

I couldn't think of anything worse than starting next season with Allardyce. We might as well not even bother.

Allardyce will give the team an identity alright. It's just one it's going to cost even more money to get rid of.

That ^^^ is pure fantasy world stuff. The notion that Allardyce is a man capable of building a side to play successful football is farcical.

Yes, he's using other manager's players, but the first team is talented and we can play way better than this muck. He just isn't capable of it.

It was Moshiri's call and he has let us down again with a panic move that will dog us until we reverse it.

I'm staggered by your view on Allardyce. We're never a fit for the eking out points brand of football he's known for. It's an unfolding disaster.

I think Palace is a good example for us. Look at what happened when they tried to bring in a manager who wanted to play good football after Allardyces hoofball.

Not the answer long term the football is dire and more importantly not really affective , really don't see how you can win games without shooting at the goal now and again.
Might be ok if you could really defend, we can't ,it's not a good mix.
In his defence there is something rotten about this bunch of players, two other managers couldn't get anywhere with them either, with there supposed talent it a joke.
I know what you’re saying, but i’m Not sure I agree.

People have been saying this for years, literally going back 10 years to the moyes days - they were all bottlers according to many. Now they’re all bad apples. What are the chances of that though? Players of different ages, backgrounds, nationalities, bought for different amounts by different managers from different clubs, and yet all with a bad attitude. It’s a billion to one chance.

Somebody said at the game yesterday ‘these players just down tools when they don’t like something, they did it to Martinez, they did it to koeman, and now they’ll do it to him’. They’re different players though! Only 1 of yesterday’s starting line up played a premier league game under Martinez, so could they have downed tools on him?!

To me, blaming the players attitudes and mentalities is just a way of trying to ignore the real problem - that we’ve got average players being managed by average coaches.

I dont care what happens in the remaining 14 games, i fully expect and want him to be gone as soon as the season is over. If he was allowed to be here any longer than that, he would do us long lasting damage. Have seen enough already to know that he will never be the right Manager to take Everton forward. Most people Knew it before we appointed him tbf. Lets be honest, even if he signed Messi, Suarez and every other most expensive player in the world we would still be treated to the same diabolical football that we have been witnessing every game since he took over. It is not even football, more like anti football. Absolutely dire to watch and is aimed at survival only and nothing else.

If you as a player saw Allardyce get appointed and become the manager, yeah - you may like with any permanent manager appointment buck your ideas up for a few weeks, then reality is you'd start slacking again knowing you have a at best short term manager in charge, and one whom the fans already mainly hate

What this squad needs is a young manager whose decisions on the squad are fully backed and one who the players know will win any battle between them and him

Been saying similar the past few weeks mate. We desperately need a change of fortune and to unearth a gem of a manager like Southampton got with Pochettino. Easier said than done, but it's made easier if you discount completely never has beens like Allardyce and (in the last decade or so) Koeman.

We have some good kids coming through and the ability to pay fees and wages makes us attractive, so the man in the dugout will have the materials to do the job.

We buy players that play football at other clubs and make them play direct here through poor managers Koeman and Allardyce it’s shocking to watch and will only get worse under Allardyce he’s old and stale.

Walsh and Allardyce need binning in the summer along with a load of the players.

Bring in an experienced DOF who likes a high pressing, possession based team, and i’d Happily have someone like Eddie Howe working under him.

A long term, coherent strategy from top to bottom.
