Will it though? Looking at what's happened after he's left previous clubs I am far from convinced.

The difference for me is Koeman didn't have a style of football. Allardyce does but it's the complete antithesis to what we need and it won't be undone over night.

Well, when Bilic took over from Sam he bought Payet and finished 7th. Lost Payet finished 11th. They didn't spend £200mill either.

The other clubs he was there short term followed up by awful appointments.

Interesting statement Dave, talented? How does that marry with your opinion of Martina, Jags, Baines, Williams, Schneids, Niase, Bolasie, just to name a few, talented? So when you say first team who do you mean exactly?
I want none of them - and you can have none of them - in a first team.

I appreciate that he is limited mate, but the formation he picks doesn’t take into account the players he’s got at his disposal.

He needs to pick the formation and tactics to get the best out of what he’s got, not persevere with the one the previous manager used and proved to be a failure.

Agree,

Id like to see a 3 5 2 with wing backs.

I'd be tempted to give the left wing position to Bolassie, he cant be any worse than Martina, and many other teams have utilised wingers there, United, Chelsea etc. Pity Lennon has gone, i think he could have done the right wing back job. Coleman will be ace at it when he gets back fit.

That would negate the fixation we have with playing 2 DM's in every game we play.

Pickford

Keane Williams Holgate

Coleman Bolassie

Vlasic Gana Siggy

Walcott Tosun

Agreed. That formation would be well more positive and use the squad we’ve got a lot better.

I cant understand why we play two defensive midfielders either, especially at home against poor teams. Attack is the best form of defence.

Schniederlin and Martina should never pull on a blue shirt again as far as i'm concerned, one doesn't give a damn and one just isn't up to job.

Unfortunatley after yesterday, Schniederlin is now nailed on to play every game from now til the end of the season.

Personally i'd play Beni and Gana there if we are going to continue with 2 DM's in every game.

Surely now though, we have to change the game plan.
