Garbutt has been available since January 1st. Martina has had 4 90 minutes in since then.
Available does not mean fit enough, good enough or up to speed to walk out against Premier League players. Does anyone believe that the Manager and coaches would persevere with a poor players if there was a better option? Bolasie etc all trained with the first team for weeks before coming on. However, if he doesn’t start against Leicester then I’ll agree with your point.

WHY?!?!? Do you keep starting him then if he isn't 100% fit you massive pie head?!?
The man's a joke. In the same article he says the reason he isn't playing Lookman is because he's young and lacks experience. So not playing him at all and preventing him from gaining any experience seems the logical solution.
The fact Fat Sam would rather play a half fit Bolasie than Lookman but then ask the fans not to get on Yannick's back when he's useless tells you everything you need to know about his managerial style. None of us expects Bolasie to be perfect, the guys been out for a year with a serious injury. The blame lies with the manager - If Yannick's not ready Sam shouldn't be playing him.

Fat Sam's world class tactics. Start an obviously not fit winger, a defensive midfielder who constantly stinks the place out and the fans hate, plus your third choice right back at left back, when in the midst of a relegation fight.

Seems weird he didn't play in the u23 game last week. He'll have had a week to prepare for Leicester. It's not as if he'd be knackered on Wednesday. We're just a shambles from top to bottom.

Garbutt has been olaying U23 games all season. And, given we have ZERO cover for LB any manager or coaxh worth his salt would have had him training with tge first team the minute Baines got injured.

I dont understand why people are still making excuses for him.

He literally just said the WBA result was a good one for us because WBA went and knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup.

Jesus H. Christ.

You sure ? He is like the cat that's got the cream as he initially didn't want to know us (knew he was a stopgap), then when we yet again balls up the recruitment process we came back to him and he is laughing all the way to the bank on probably a better deal. He knows certain sections hate his appointment but he has that on pretty much every appointment, I will be amazed if he sees out his current contract then he will leave with yet another huge payoff. So depressing this season after we had hope of something far better.

He was always going to leave with a huge pay off, it`s a compromise and face saver, for when he gets binned in the Summer.

We bottled it and played into his hands.
