See people coming out now saying we wouldn't have gone down under Koeman. Does anyone actually think that? Absolute rubbish for me. Go and watch the games against Spurs, Arsenal, Atalanta, Burnley under Koeman- we were doomed.

Don't want Allardyce anywhere near us next season or right now for that matter but at the time, no one else would take the job. It's delusional to think we'd be better off now if Koeman was still here.

Spot on.

The mind boggles. We were so bad under koeman and now he’s a genius.

Moyes actually cared about the club, the last 2 managers don’t really give a toss either way. You could see that in the players fight for the team.

We need another manager who actually cares, then hopefully he can do the rest that’s required too.

Is this moyes who was having fat chats round fergies house whilst Everton Paid his salary?

Spot on. Koeman was always looking to the next job, and Allardyce knows he’s only here short term so doesn’t give a toss.

I dislike Moyes for the way he acted about going to the Mancs and after he joined them, but he definitely cared about the club while he was here.

The form concerns me at the moment. I'm no longer sure that Allardyce is the right choice, but I can't see us sacking him this season.

Once we hit 40 points, I'll be very happy.

I think that when first appointed it was the intention that Sam would see out the eighteen months of his contract, but that situation has changed completely. What I find surprising is that he doesn't seem to have motivated the players to perform for him.
In his previous jobs the players really bought in to whatever he was doing and gave everything they had for him on the field and it was this massive effort that usually kept his teams up. This has not happened here at all.

Given that we should still have enough to get to safety, that Sam will not be here next season and the players are not giving everything for him, it is hard to see why he is staying or would even want to stay.

He spent a decade here with very little backing from the board...I for one didnt blame him for leaving...especially when the biggest job in english football comes calling. The way he talked down to the club afterwards however...yeah not cool.
I would however trust Moyes to steady this mess of a ship far more than flash foreign baubles or the gravy train....in fact I would be asking him right now about taking over next season.
Tbh though i always liked the dour get so im probably biased more than the "were too big for him" brigade.
Come home whingy Ginge !!

Lay off the Monday morning ale, do you damage

If Crystal Palace get anything out of their game tonight, then we will be just 6 points above the bottom 3. We were about 5 points above the bottom 3 when this clown took over as i recall. That is what Allardyce has brought us, absolutely nothing, zilch. Well that's not strictly correct because he has actually made us the most boring, unwatchable and embarrassing team in the Premier League on top of there being no improvement whatsoever.

I still have a gut feeling that there might be an emergency meeting this morning which will result in him parting company with us later today, not unlike the way Koeman's tenure ended. Might be more wishful thinking than gut feeling though.

Get him gone Moshiri. We can get 6 points in the last 9 games without him. In fact there is probably more chance of it without him.

Moyes should have gone about 3 years before he did probably for his own and for Everton's benefit. Getting to be distant history now though. We should have put him on gardening leave as soon as we became aware he was off was a mistake on our part though. He was fairly disrespectful in some of the things he said as he tried to get Baines and Fellaini from us, and he would have came out of that better if he had avoided that, but I think his bridges with us were well and truly burnt thereafter.

Anyway, back to business. Has our current incumbent lump of a manager been given 6 million big ones yet?

The hostile atmosphere has been created by the clubs awful decisions! Do you think that supporting awful decisions by the club is helping us? We’re not in this mess because of the fans.
What would cheering do? Say we cheer and get mega supportive, then Farhad and Bill go... o he won over the fans and keep him. The fact is we want him gone and the easy way to do that is to boo and chant we want him out. Which we do, well everyone but you anyway.
