Player Valuation: £60m
If they start going for younger players I can very easily foresee a load of retirements by 25/26. What motivation would there be to continue playing football once you've had £100/200m by that age?

The same motivation that players have when they have earned 10m or 20m by that age. It is still enough money to live the rest of their lives in luxury. Once u get a certain amount in the bank account all money after that is irrelevant. If they start going for younger players I can very easily foresee a load of retirements by 25/26. I don't really see the point of football in general right now.If they start going for younger players I can very easily foresee a load of retirements by 25/26. What motivation would there be to continue playing football once you've had £100/200m by that age?
People from all over the world love their domestic leagues regardless of their prestige or standing in the world. We'd be no different in England. Bring it on.This could be the end of the dominance of the premier league and I'm all for it

We'll see.Haha, no chance. It's Saudi Arabia FFS. It's just a replay of the Chinese Super League and will be a short run thing, undoubtedly designed to give a SA World Cup bid a shot.

It's not support, it's acceptance.Good to see blues taking a break from being city to support newcastle, no pride at all
Most teams are simply cannon fodder to make Messi and Ronaldo's stats look good. Most domestic leagues are irrelevant now, with it seen as a huge surprise if the same 1 or 2 teams don't win every year. FFP, aside from being largely farcical, has also entrenched success. Even Newcastle, for all the money at their disposal, finished 18 points behind City.I don't really see the point of football in general right now.
If one of the have nots have a good season the big boys just take their best players off them to sit on their bench doing nothing but getting paid well for it.
We just exist, us and 13 other clubs are just there to make up the numbers. The Washington Generals to their Harlem Globetrotters. It's utterly pointless.
They thought the same with golf.
This has legs and is only going to grow.
Well the LIV plan seems to have worked maybe quicker than they expectedHonestly couldn’t care less myself. It’s just China 2.0. Won’t depreciate my love for footie as they’re taking players I don’t even watch. Grab them all, get the wage hogs out of the league.
Edit: Actually, only thing that would bother me, and I think they’ll go for it eventually, is to try create a new CL so their teams can play Europe’s outside of friendlies. Maybe not a full on Super League but just a tournament.
