Imagine going the match and taking photos so you can post them on here to prove to me you were there.

FFS, I live inside that head of yours.

Even handed? Suggesting that it was the fault of the Ibrox PA that made the Celtic fans act in such a way that the minute's silence was abandoned? Aye. Right.
He was to blame too. How could he not have been? Is it his policy to ignore all notable deaths in football?

I said earlier that I heard Celtic fans disrupting an Ibrox disaster silence once before.

Maybe you could meet me half way and condemn your own club's knuckle draggers and their atrocities?

Utter poppycock.

There you go, not the first time this has happened. You're undermining your own argument there. They have form for this, from your own words.

I already have. I've condemned bigoted singing/chants and I've condemned the person that threw the bottle into the Celtic fans on Monday.

Good lad.

Yes, I do think he was worth mentioning but it's not me that makes thst decision.
I'm absolutely staggered that you are blaming Rangers for the behaviour of Celtic fans. Have you had a stroke? Are you actually reading what you are writing?
Don't you think the lives of 66 people, that's 66 people who died, are worth 60 seconds of silence being respected, or are they only worth 40 seconds?
There was people in the stadium that lost loved ones that day and its supposedly the fault of the Rangers PA? Absolute balderdash.
Mate, I like your posts and btw I am not a Celtic fan despite my Dublin background. However, to say that Frank McGarvey was "worth mentioning" might be a bit understated.

As posted earlier the 66 poor souls deserved every respect RIP. However that there was zero mention of Frank was just dreadful.

Rangers really let themselves down by ignoring his death.

Thanks, mate, I appreciate the kind words.
I agree, I was only using the term "worth mentioning" in response to Dave, who used that exact term, I believe. It certainly should have been mentioned, but as I said above somewhere, I suppose the focus was on the Ibrox disaster given that some of the people in the stadium lost friends and family that day. It doesn't excuse it, I can only think that was the reason. Cheers.

Complete nonsense. Your fans do it every time they have been asked to keep quiet. Only celtic fans seemed to have the coughing fits and the bursts of laughter. Children died that day including one from liverpool. It's pretty clear you and others simply don't care but you're in the minority.

It's pretty clear you have never met me, but you've already concocted a scenario tin which I don't care about people mocking minutes a minute silence. This is despite the fact I have already posted that people who disrupt silences are arts holes.

This complete fantasy you have invented in your head about me doesn't do much to back up your claim that Celtic supporters have all conspired to cough during the minutes silence 'to mimic people gasping for breath' In fact it makes you appear a Walter Mitty type.

Why would Celtic fans cough? Why wouldn't they sing, shout, and display banners if they wanted to disrupt the minutes silence? You couldn't hear them doing it on TV, so what is the point? Why wouldn't they party during it, if the intention was to disrupt it?

You say Ranger supporters didn't cough, but I have seen a video of a silence for the 66 few years ago taken by a Rangers fan and there definitely were people coughing. Were the Rangers supporters who coughed trying to 'mimic people gasping for breath' or is there a special type of cough that Celtic supporters make that does this?

We obviously have differing views on quite a few things, but I've seen your posts on here and you seem like a reasonable person. You can't possibly believe that the silence in memory of 66 people, including children, was cut short because a couple of people had a wee tickly cough? There are certain things which should be above our, sometimes petty, rivalry. I would confidently say that the Ibrox disaster is one of them.

I wasn't at the game. I saw it on TV. I heard a couple of shouts during it, but it didn't seem too bad on TV, just a couple of arts holes shouting. I didn't hear even one cough on TV. Also, I didn't realise they had cut the silence short. Are you sure they did this? Did you time it?

I have posted a couple of times now that I have no time for disrupting silences. Even if there was a minutes silence for someone I couldn't stand, like Thatcher, I still wouldn't disrupt it. I have no time whatsoever for the royal family, but I wouldn't dream of disrupting a minutes silence in memory of them.

I agree the Ibrox Disaster should be above point scoring, as should the deaths of players and managers, and the abuse of children, but it appears to me that a lot of the Rangers support want to cherry pick what subjects can be sung about, and all of them seem to involve Celtic. It was only a week or so ago that the Rangers support were singing "Merry Christmas Tommy Burns"

So to recap, I have no time whatsoever for any of that utter Scheidt, no matter who is singing it. I would much prefer it if fans sang about football.

Despicable, I would say. It makes it appear some people's deaths are more important than others.
