Great player, young Nathan.

Think you should be focusing on Everton's finances rather smugly rattling on about ours when it comes to clubs going bust?
Going bust? Everton? I think you might be confused. We have an owner that's placed us in a position where we cant spend because of PSR.

We are a blue chip PL club with an unbroken 71 years top flight presence.

We have a state of the art world class stadium ready to open next summer.

Our ownership will be secured soon enough.

rangers on the other hand will be spending 10 bob on some tat from Buckie Thistle.

Think you're well aware of the precarious position Everton are in at the moment as for the stadium it's looking like Everton will be renting the stadium rather than owning it when they eventually move in?

Another boot in the hee-haws for us again yesterday but to be honest had little to no hope going into it, outwith the now compulsory dodgy VAR decisions and major defensive feck up's we just looked impotent going forward.

Season was over when we lost at Ross County, when the weak mentality of this team to deal with pressure and expectarion surfaced again, things just went from bad to shoite from then on.

No denying that celtic deserved what they won this season but Clement can surely see that it isn't an insurmountable challenge to build his own side to compete with what is a very average celtic side next season...

Well I hope to feck that he does!!!
Didn't see the game apart from the winner and the disallowed goal.
Joe Hart was pushed so far he had to buy a ticket to get back into Hampden.
What was the guy thinking?
He doesn't foul him, there's no guarantee Hart is winning the ball, VAR are never going to let that go when it's so blatant.
Clement certainly showed early promise but they're certainly now lacking something mentally which you've rightly picked up on.
Celtic ain't all that but seem to do just enough and no more.

It's more Turnbull pulling Raskin back and then both arms around him as he gets to the contact with Hart, if Raskin is a foul, Turnbull's pull and bear hug before it is as well, so if they're going to disallow the goal they should then go back and award a penalty?

The mentality thing with us has been the big question mark over this squad of players for a while now tbh, Clement needs to sort that out with the players he brings in along with the ones he keeps, going to be a big job and he needs to get it right quickly!

Pfft, we all know @davek knows nothing about Buckie Thistle , or Scottish Football. Highland League winners and our Highland League Player of the Season scored 26 goals from left centre back , 2 shy of the leagues Golden Boot winner - he’s like Branthwaite but scores more goals , probably worth £20 k . Dave’s worse post since he said the SPL was a Farmers League . Sheer ignorance. Everybody knows it’s “ Fermers”.

O'Riley left out of the Danish squad.

I mean that just underlines the quality of player at Celtic (and therefore Scottish football given they are the best Scottish team by a country mile) that a nation like Denmark doesn't even include you in a squad for the Euros.

🤷‍♂️ Then you miss or don’t understand the essence of Scottish football. By your criteria I presume you only watch Champions League football, on TV and from the k.o. stages onwards where just about every team is composed of internationals and “ quality” players.

I may sound deranged to some to say Scottish football is not all about quality players and I’ll confirm that by saying I am really looking forward to Buckie’s exploits in the Premier Sports cup. It’s an all “ Champions “ Group we’re in , well except for Ayr United. Imagine though , we could be playing Stenhousemuir at home, what a pre-season to look forward to 🙂

No, I get that. I support all levels of football club for what they represent to their fans and wider communities.

I'm addressing those people who argue that the Old Firm could hack it down here. An increasingly ridiculous argument.

Don't count me in there Dave, I don't want either of them in the English Premiership.
We could argue until we're blue (or greeen) in the face as to whether they could make any sort of impact.
Perhaps a seperate thread on that very subject would be entertaining but I don't think your font control could handle it Dave 🤣

I bet you're in a minority of one on that amongst rangers fans. They love their English links.

I think that those that harp on about “quality” of football almost kind of miss what football is all about

I’ve seen games with some of the most skilled players on the planet be utter snooze fests and watched Sunday League games I couldn’t take my eyes off because they were so exciting

Rounding down the enjoyment you gain based on how many step overs and nice passing triangles you see is just kind of reductive to me, and ignores what the beating heart of this sport really is, which is passion, drama and stories
