Same with the International rugby, where have all the characters gone?
I always think where rugby is concerned the game's the thing regardless of who is playing, whereas without characters football can be deadly dull.

Even in lockdown the rugby internationals have been very absorbing (for me) but I'm trying hard to find football interesting apart, of course, from Everton's slow march towards world domination.

@Mikey_Fitzgerald you seem to know your onions on Scottish fitba - who's the more similiar to us / Kopites Hearts or Hibs?

Used to have a soft spot for Hibs but met a few undesirable ones during a stop over in Edinburgh which clouded my opinions on their fans.

live in Edinburgh, still have my season ticket at goodison, but due to friends I watch Kilmarnock a lot. Having a drink on Easter road before a hibs game, met a hibs fan in the pub with an Everton shirt on. He told me the Easter road supporters club was predominantly everton and they regularly took a bus to goodison. I never knew of any connection at all, growing up it always seemed like celtic. I still have, in mint condition, a three quarters hat I got in 84

I'd say neither.
Although you do see more hearts fans outside Edinburgh.
But that could be more to do with historical stuff.

I find it strange that a city the size of Edinburgh has never really pushed the Glasgow clubs for honours. Both Edinburgh clubs have an amazing history but noone has ever really taken a grip of either club. I live in the city and see fan coaches leaving for celtic and rangers whenever their playing.

Answered your own question there mate.
That's the 1st thing I noticed when I first moved to Aberdeen, who were flying high at the time.
Folk waiting at the bus station Saturday morning in full regalia for the trip to Glasga.
Families tend to drum it into there kids to carry on the tradition of following the big two, even the newco.....
