Seems to me that a lot of bigots on here are advising a guy who's not a bigot that (in their opinion) he supports the wrong bigoted team. Incredible!
I don't support Celtic either and have no affiliation at all with them. What I don't get is how a born and bred Irish person can follow a club steeped in anti Irish bigotry. He can do what he likes but it still makes zero sense.

Surely that should be applauded/encouraged? that as an irishman he doesn't let your prejudices affect him in choosing what football team he supports? therefore being a part of the solution to the problem you have an issue with.

In fairness I have been very critical of Gerrard and Rangers more broadly, but in honesty if an Irish fella wants to watch them, and gets abused if he goes to Ibrox, thats a comment on those doing the abusing not the Irish fella in question in my view.

To be fair to him, Rangers did have an unreal team in the early 90's. Contrary to this thread, I'm not really anti-Rangers per se (just can't be doing with their manager) but they had a brilliant team. Richard Gough when he came here at about 40 is still one of the best CB's I've seen. Gasgoigne was on another level up there, Laudrop, De Boer etc, fantastic players. I remember when Celtic finally pipped there and had Larsson, Sutton etc, two great teams then.

I've always liked to see both the Old Firm clubs do well.

A big shout out to the man who took Rangers back home to the top flight, his team beat Celtic in the scottish cup semi final as well. Things didn't work out in the end, but he's a top man regardless. Heres to Mark Warburton and his magic hat.;)

Just from a Celtic angle, what do they think has gone wrong this season? Lack of investment? Long term complacency? Bad manager? Bad selections?
The blame has to lie with Lennon. Edouard has been trying to get a move and I think that relationship has broken down, they should have got rid of Lennon a lot sooner. Celtic have been really poor. Took it for granted and Rangers have walked it.
Duffys been a big mystery to me. I thought he'd be just what they needed
Yeah I thought he'd be a great signing, anything but.
Social distancing, Govan-style.

Genuinely the ugliest group of people inside and out on the planet. Absolute mutants

I'll tell you this some of the fans behavior has to be condemned. But to be fair, the appearances of some of the fans can't be helped though.
