The blame has to lie with Lennon. Edouard has been trying to get a move and I think that relationship has broken down, they should have got rid of Lennon a lot sooner. Celtic have been really poor. Took it for granted and Rangers have walked it.

Yeah I thought he'd be a great signing, anything but.

Genuinely the ugliest group of people inside and out on the planet. Absolute mutants
As an Ayr fan you strangely seem to concern yourself with all things Rangers/celtic a lot and i'm willing to bet you're no oil painting yourself!

Mcinnes was away to be binned at the end of this season, but results have forced the chairman to act.
His recent signings have been disastrous, even our own Fraser Hornby, according to insiders.
Enzo Maresca is coming in,rumour has it.

So Derek McInnes the greatest manager Scotlands ever seen, has been kicked out on his rear end. lol I said it before and i'll say it again, Rangers dodged a bullet when he rejected them. He was seriously overrated by the scottish media, and a certain person on here. I was proven right on this.

Just googled him, an Italian journalist who was Pelligrini's assistant at West Ham and now an academy coach at City (so the equivalent of David Unsworth).

The lad obviously has something as Pep wanted him as a junior member of staff at City, but recruiting academy coaches? Is that the level one of the absolute top SPFL sides has come to?

(Tbf Ronnie Delia was very, very cheap).

I don't discount he'll be a big success in Scotland when even an absolute beginner like Gerrard can win the league. Slippy had help from Liverpool's academy youngsters so perhaps Maresca can ask Pep - 'Is it ok to bring a load of City schoolboys to Celtic?'

John Kennedy to be made permanent, another cheap option is still favourite

Do they have the old "It was Chelsea" line too? I actually never knew that. You know that a certain other club in England have the same approach as well, to justify their thuggery. I'll give you 1 guess as to who it is? (I'll give you a clue, another club, founded by an Orange bigot who banned Irish Catholics from playing for them). Have a guess.

They've used that in the past.

Years ago when the club/operating company was being investigated for singing sectarian songs at a European game, in Eindhoven iirc, one of their bloggers wrote that there was no proof to say Celtic supporters hadn't infiltrated the Rangers fans and I quote "Acted as agent provocateurs" in an attempt to get Rangers into bother with UEFA!

Those sneaky Celtic supporters. Thousands of them spending fortunes sneaking over to Eindhoven unnoticed and singing anti-Catholic songs, just to get Rangers into trouble! Is there no end to their treachery? :(

Stephen Glass is getting a shout in the PnJ, that would be an interesting one, still highly regarded at Pittodrie but not very experienced. Derek Adams too, he did a decent job at Ross County a while back.

The lad, for me, has potential to be a huge success.

From being a player who played for Málaga, there's never been enough positive stories about him being interested in perfecting the game, ala Guardiola. Everywhere he's went the players have loved him, the fans have loved him, so he does something right.

But it seems really, really soon to be taking a first head coach role.

Love Maresca, but Aberdeen seems like a weird fit.

Some loons in our place are saying alex Neil....no chance.
Stephen Glass doing wheelies on the broad hill with his coca cola bike?

When second in the betting for the next Celtic manager is the coach of City's academy and schoolboy setup, it just seems they're shopping in the really cheap discount stores once again.

The lad maybe half decent at that level - another Unsworth even, which tbf would probably make more than top drawer in Scotland, but it looks like cost and the cheap deal is the motivation once again. The fact Kennedy topped the betting says it all - he won't cost much.
