We've got Chelsea next. I have a bad feeling about this. Coleman or no Coleman. Also, he IS getting over a pretty horrific injury. Look at how long it took Bolasie to recover.

Btw what's happened to Jags? The injuries/suspensions page isn't working, is he still injured?
In his press conference Silva said he was still injured.

He was very good yesterday, not just the goal. He got around players and got his crosses in. Some werent the best, but they have never been from Coleman. He’s looking like he’s finding his form again, same with Theo.

NEA about the celebration. I’d have him bury every week and call people out who have been having a go at him.

He had a horrible injury. He needs to be supported. He’s gonna take a while to get back to the player he was, if he ever does.

Saying that we do need more cover there, and walcott does leave him overly exposed like
I think that's a very relevant point. There's also the relationship with a new right sided CB to consider too. That has to be worked at.

Being a full back when the man in front of you doesn't cover back is a terrible position to be in. You are forced into making decisions you would never make when you don't have two men coming at you. The whole balance goes out of the team, if you stay with one man a gap openings up in front of you and if you come out to press a gap opens up behind you.

Gana covered for him very well yesterday. Think Silva has recognised that teams have been utilising our right side for the space left but Gana filled in great. Our flanks are our weaknesses defensively. Remember McCarthy in his first season used to cover Coleman very well also. If the gaps are not plugged we get exposed

Think bolasie must still be recovering mate , and I take it this injury he had must have happened when he was 16 because he’s been gash for the past 11 years

I would say our weakness defensively is set pieces. Apart from them we are pretty solid to be honest

He not the first everton player over the last few seasons to celerbate with a two fingers up to the crowd.

This. It's poor from the players to repeatedly do this kind of thing, not defending the fact that some of our fans seem to love abusing our own players, but the players should be able to rise above it. Unfortunately it's just part and parcel of their job and they should just get on with it rather than having a go at the fans and adding to the negativity.

I think any critics of Coleman were answered yesterday. His celebration was fully justified, unbelievably loyal player, top pro, does his bit for the community etc. He was one of the top right backs in Europe before his serious injury and it's no surprise he will have a few off games.

But my advice to him would be to ignore the haters as most Everton fans know how good he is and what he's all about.

If you can't take a bit of stick when your not performing you shouldn't be a professional footballer.Loyalty has little to do with the modern game,it's all about money.
