I am referring to open play with the full backs pushed up. We have always been vunerable to the counter because of this. Gana plugged the space vacated by Coleman...the way it should be done.
And that's how it's going to continue to be. Gana has incredible ability to do this, we should continue to milk his talent.

Thought he was good overall yesterday. I was really pleased to see him so far forward so often. Great to see he can still get up and down.

He got terrorised by Martial last week though and has been mediocre for a long time. The criticism was justified. He obviously thinks we should support exclusively and not give our opinions on performance if they're negative which I think is a bit unrealistic. They've certainly never ever been "abusive" by the way, as he's extremely highly thought of here.

It's unfortunate he's done that celebration this week as he's now got to go to Chelsea and they'll obviously target him as United did. He'll need to back the celebration up with a decent performance. Another United away and he'll look a bit of a tit.

I can see why he celebrated like he did. I dont think he should have done it, but I can understand it. He's been lavished with the "Sixty grand" songs for years and must have been thinking when he began to get doubters that 'they forget the price tag conveniently when it suits', but most of all that it's relaltively recently after coming back from a potentially career-ending leg break and it takes time to get back confidence and whatever form was there before.

All that said, I do believe we need better competition than Kenny is giving him in that position.
I’d love for us to get a top class young right back (Wan-Bissaka) to challenge Seamy.

Probably my favourite ever Everton player, and he did well yesterday but we can do better.

He's been [Poor language removed] and been criticised for being [Poor language removed]. No biggy really is it? He's not immune to criticism don't get his celebration me. Bit like a spoilt brat

Still love him like

I thought Seamus and Theo linked very well yesterday. Particularly in the 1st half, the last 2 games he’s had Zaha and martial to deal with which I think defensively he did ok. People are a bit quick to judge, the same with Jonjoe. His deliveries have been hit and miss although I thought they were better yesterday than last week. I wouldn’t mind us getting the Crystal Palace boy in the summer for competition though.

He gets angry quite often does our Seamus. We have seen it on a few occasions when he has scored and I always remember him getting dead narky with Cahill. Cahill scored a goal and ran to the corner flag and did his boxing but Cahill was still on a high and while Seamus hugged him in celebration Cahill pushed him away (not angrily) and seamus lost it and give him a right shove. Remember Hibberts goal in the testimonial when Everton fans ran on the pitch and he is snarling at the Everton fans to get off......I mean snarling.

The celebration wasn't "where's the abuse now", it was just an outpouring of emotion.

This stuff about him having a poor start to the season has totally been taken out of context. He's had an awful run of injuries. He needs a run in the side to get settled and get his form back.

Hopefully, yesterday was the start of that.

It was though wasn't it, he did the exact same thing when he scored against arsenal in koemans first season when he was playing terribly and people were rightly criticising him. Although his form did pick up after that match.

Coleman's 30 years old and unfortunately for him he the left hand side has drastically improved and that's has made the right our weak point. That's what other teams see and their going to keep targeting our right side. For me this will be his last season as first choice and I'm happy about that because I don't want it to become a issue where you look at the team sheet and see Coleman and think "ffs". He doesn't deserve that but that's what's going to happen. Walcott doesn't help and I'd want his replacement brought in in January if possible tbh. If the right wing did the same defensive duties as the left Coleman would have more protection.

Makes me smile, back in the early 60s when we were one of the top clubs,a bad performance resulted in cushions raining down from the stands.Modern day footballers eh!

Wish I was around to have witnessed such scouse shenanigans. Mind wish I was around to have actually seen us win a trophy or two!

Celebration was definatly a dig at the fans.

Just stopped short of properly cupping his ears, although he did it briefly.

Cant say i blame him.
