He's not even got the attacking end product to justify his selection at present.

Massive performance needed from him and a reason why I would like us going 3 at the back to have some cover for him.

The worst for me was last min at wolves when he just had to play a simple ball across to niasse who was all alone in front of goal and he scuffed it straight to the keeper.

I understand his critics, I just think he gets at least until the end of the season before we can say with any certainty that he needs replacing. It was always going to take a while after coming back from that injury.

Yep I thought Mane was the pick of their players. Salah got absolutely nothing from any of our defence today, we looked like a very organised unit.

I thought the exact same thing. Didn’t really do anything to fancy today but worked hard and was very solid defensively.

Salah vs Digne = Salah subbed off
Mane vs Coleman = A few chances

The difference is that Digne is a major attacking threat and so nullified Salah. Coleman going forward was very poor so Mane could push on...Coleman looked good defensively but a better right back wouldnt have had to be.

We really need to buy a new right back.
