He is the captain and senior pro in the dressing room will the manager have the balls to drop him i doubt it

No mate.Of course it does, don't be such a kopite.
Yes, they are. I think the point made was that we all face criticism in our jobs if we perform badly. The difference is, I get paid less to deal with mine. They get paid the big bucks because of the industry they're in, therefore should expect to face it when it comes. On the flip side, the are hero worshiped when things are going well, so tanking the rough with the smooth is just a part of their lives. Whilst getting 100's of thousands per week....See I hate this, what the f*** has money got to do with it?? Does it make you oblivious to hardship or pain? Fans constantly justifying abusing players cos "they earn thousands a week", they're still people mate.
Think it's even more obvious with his defending. It sucks, but think it's true. He's definitely lost a yard or two of pace since his injury. He used to take defenders on all the time and beat them to the by-line. Now he seems hesitant, even reluctant, to try. In his mind, he might already know he can't do it any more. Same with his defending -- he's having to play farther off the man to make up for a drop in pace in case the opponent tries to go by him, resulting in more crosses coming in than before as he can't close them down quickly enough. Like a lot of the other players, he seems caught in two minds right now.
Phil Jagielka would disagree. He is the captain and senior pro in the dressing room will the manager have the balls to drop him i doubt it
Don't think he's been abused,do you? The odd groan now and again hardly counts.See I hate this, what the f*** has money got to do with it?? Does it make you oblivious to hardship or pain? Fans constantly justifying abusing players cos "they earn thousands a week", they're still people mate.
Don't think anyone is suggesting he was.His turn to be scapegoat. I thought he wasn't too bad last night , he certainly wasn't the worst
Yep.See I hate this, what the f*** has money got to do with it?? Does it make you oblivious to hardship or pain? Fans constantly justifying abusing players cos "they earn thousands a week", they're still people mate.
Yep.
Having loads of money certainly didn't help Gary Speed.
Clearly, Seamus is not the same fella since the horrible injuries. His pace was one of his main attributes, but that's gone unfortunately with the knock on effect of him lacking the confidence to go forward he had. He mostly passes back or turns back...one instance last night lead to confusion between him and Pickford which caused danger and also friction between the two players. As unhappy we are with the situation, its clearly nothing like the way hes feeling and Marco Silva needs to assess the way forward as we need his old head back given the new players who are bedding in. Hope he achieves it as hes a good lad.
