A well earned contract offer. I think some people just decide that a player is not doing well in spite of it being absolutely clear that they are. Seamus was huge for us up until his injury and that injury was caused by a tackle in a game as most of his injuries have been.

He has paid the price for being as brave as he is and I wish we had more like him.

His consistency may have fallen away, but he can hit the heights enough times to warrant a new contract.

IMO we need to be scouring the transfer market for the most affordable and decent RB we can find.

Seamus Coleman signs new contract with Everton

Ireland captain Séamus Coleman is almost certain to finish out his career with Everton after the club today confirmed they have offered their skipper a new contract.

Next season I think the promoted clubs will have their usual struggle and I think Forest and Bournemouth may also struggle and possibly Wolves. There are a few clubs that we may find ourselves fighting with if we don't improve.
