Seamus Coleman

His story, all the £60000 stuff and being a decent bloke, seems to resonate with folk outside L4.
It takes something to deflect away from the Everton stadium talk, and for non-Evertonians to be 100% sympathetic and wish well for another club's player.

It's an absolute shame. But I still back him to be playing by Christmas, and next summer to be leading his nation out in the World Cup finals.

I decided to take a peek at it earlier. No slow mos, just in real time.

The Welsh lad flew into the tackle. In the air, uncontrolled, over the ball. As you say, naughty.

..the perfect storm is that Coleman always plays at speed, always on the front foot. He was like a motor bike hitting a bus coming the other way. Taylor was probably full of adrenaline, not meaning to hurt but wanting to leave his mark. He'll know.

....nope, it makes you as bad as them. Pros know how to look after themselves and who they can trust. Suarez is a different league to Vardy, he'd die to win a game of footy.
I wouldn't bat an eye-lid if either got what Coleman had done to him.

There's a hierarchy of sympathy for these things: the likes of Coleman are at the top; the likes of Vardy and Suarez are at the base.

..there are players you can trust and players you can't. Coleman trusted Taylor.

Like I said before- I don't think Taylor's intent was to injure. He wanted to make sure Coleman knew he was present. That still does not make it alright to go into a challenge that recklessly at that speed when a player is coming at you with the same force. It was so idiotic and unfortunately Coleman had his leg planted. He needs to be banned for a while to make a statement. The game has changed. Tackles like that aren't acceptable anymore.

spot on as always eggs so when Taylor goes "looking" for Seamus to apologise, he'll know behind closed doors Seamus will say to him he's a snide little shytbag who went to do him in some form or another.

Whether the incident is watched on real time or slow motion, it instantly looks like an out of control, reckless attempt at getting the ball AND player for good measure.

Dirty fckn rat that Taylor.
