Thought Coleman was average myself; let far too many crosses come in (no surprise) and made Martin Olsson look like a world beater.

Knew it. Dunphy watches every football game that was ever played if you listen to him. A fool of the highest order. You're correct “But McCarthy, I watched him all season at Everton. He got his manager sacked. The guy does nothing.
“He’s strolling around the pitch like a traffic cop, pointing here and there, doing nothing himself.”

Gotta agree. Lawro & his sidekick were commenting on that all the way through 2nd half. Mind you had little support and even less when McGeady was sent on
Been average for ages though, he had one-two good seasons and since has literally been pants. The lad cannot cross, and doesn't beat people in one on ones anymore, unfortunatelyThought Coleman was average myself; let far too many crosses come in (no surprise) and made Martin Olsson look like a world beater.
Barely has a half decent game for usYou can't argue with the panel tonight re McCarthy, he was shocking, he doesn't take responsibility at all, never showed for the ball once, I've yet to see him have even a half decent game for Ireland

Sorry I'm exaggerating to put a point across.Did he not beat several players then pick out a good cross from which a goal was scored about 5 hours ago?
The truth hurts,I think Coleman is pretty bang average..

Fair enough, no doubt you are right about Martinez defensive theories taking him sideways and backwards in that regard.I think he was unfortunate tonight, Ireland didn't plug the gap in front of him so he was continually catch out not knowing whether to go to the man with the ball or track the runner. There is no doubt he has gone backwards under Martinez and his mad theories on defending.
One thing I would say for him was that it was his ball in which led to the goal being scored.
On Eamon Dumphy I would say that I used to really like him, I thought he was one who spoke his mind no matter what others thought. I thought he was a controversial character, now I realise he has become a parody of himself.
