Nice little piece here about him.

Warmed my heart.

Top guy.

Should be the next Everton captain.

Excellent read about an excellent player. I've spent some very enjoyable hours in Killybegs fishing with local skipper Enda O'Callaghan, its such a small place with next to no facilities other than the harbour side pubs. When we fished it was dependent on Edna having finished his altar boy/man duties. Seamus has done brilliantly to reach the heights he has and I for one feel very proud that he is one of ours, slange Seamie:drunk::pint2:

Coleman has pretty much got away with being average at best for two whole years on here. Lukaku scored 45 times over the same period and has had a world of abuse and constant criticism of his ability.
It might just be me but other than Martinez first season I have never been convinced about Coleman. Not in terms of effort, just always seems a bit headless chicken?

Was like a a man possessed last night. Captained the side and put in a hard tackle in first 10 seconds to set the tone. Went psycho when Mccarthy threw his head into a boot to clear a ball. Mccarthy was the real deal holding midfield as well.

Seamus really stepped up to the job of captain last night and has shown that Everton should seriously think of giving him the armband.

This is what James Mc needs to get him going.

RM hadn't a clue how to manage and motivate players - Seamus, if captain (and hopefully RK) will bring that passion which was missing to all our team in the future.

Great player. Some of the tackles he put in last night were the work of a possessed man.
Mccarthy wasn't great again but did the basics right. McGeady, well he just gets better and better....

It might just be me, and throw me pelters if you must, but has Seamus really got the drive, the intelligence and football brain to be captaining us ? Not in my opinion.

To add to that, he makes so much effort would never knock him as such, but seems uncertain unless the game is 100mph. A good player but not 'top drawer.' That is my confusion because lots of people seem to think he is.
