2017/18 Seamus Coleman

Got a feeling that he won't start v Arsenal.

The key will be managing his game time as to not overstretch him.

Given he put such a performance in, for 90 minutes, the other day, two games in three matches may be too much.

Aye, I think he may be benched for this one as well Toff.

Saying that, I thought he would only last an hour tops Wednesday and it was interesting to hear Seamus say the manager told him at half time to give him a nod when he's ready to come off. So the manager obviously thought he would leave it to Coleman so trusts him to make the right decision. If he can last 95 minutes who knows if he can do the same again 3 days later. The man's a machine!

ffs Prev, he's bound to do his hammy now!

Look at the glorious man run...long may it continue

A 100% fit Coleman would sprint all the way to the edge of the 6 yard box and put the ball in the net. You can clearly see he’s slowing down at the end and tiredness force him to make a wrong decision.
Can’t wait to see us tear teams apart when he is 100% fit.

So if I have a racist or anti women opinion it’s ok as it can’t be proved to be right or wrong , it’s an opinion not fact
Soz la but when your opinion is disputed by the vast majority of people on the forum the chances are you are wrong and they are right

Opinions cant be proven wrong.

For me good thing his comeback did not start at the beginning of January otherwise he would have been a transfer target from our rich clubs to the Galacticos. Is there a better RB in the PL??

Glad to have you back Seamus. In those last few minutes just wish you used your other foot could have had a goal to round off the night.

Why on earth would you drop him after that performance? He is fit, he's proved it. He's not had a muscle injury and isn't in his mid-30s, "managing his game time" should not be a thing at this point, especially given we're not playing any cup games so he'll get a rest every few weeks anyway.

re that 80 yard sprint, he prob should have gone to the corner at that stage in the game instead of giving possession back...hmmm!
