Easily got another few years left in him. Certainly deserves the armband for his commitment to the club.
Yeah, we shouldn't make captains from people with leadership abilities, just pick out the ones who were here longest and see how that works out (again).

Coleman has always been a better player than Jags. Who else would you give the armband to anyway?

Just been on sky sports news.

Saying he tried his hardest for Sam, acknowledged Sam tried too.
"Easy for us players to hide behind managers, I've had 3 or 4 now, players get away with the stick that's flying around, it's always on the managers.
About time us players now stepped up to the plate."

Saying Rooney has been great with the young lads, and he thanked Rooney for trying to move the club forward.

There should be 11 Captains for Everton on the pitch at any one time. Unfortunately, we are struggling to find one at the moment.

I agree that Seamus is the only stand out candidate. The others just don't show it or aren't technically good enough to be regular starters and handle the responsibility.

Silva needs to address this urgently.
