2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

He attacks anyone that criticises anything Dyche does so he definitely believes that even if he doesn’t outright state it in that particular post.

It’s weird, as he was like Benitez’s attack dog on here too, to the point that you could’ve well believed he was part of his press team ( I know he’s not )

Doesn’t half pick some strange managers to nail his colours to.

We spent 45 mil this summer and 40mil the summer before, not including fees on loans and free’s. So no money is not quite true, we have a better squad than last season.

And Sam’s ( I’m I ok to call him Sam?) football was horrendous, stats terrible and he won his first game in November against one of the worst sides in the league Huddersfield and we went up to 9th I think maybe 10th. Anyway 6 months later we finished 8th. There’s no way he should have stayed just like Dyche shouldn’t.

Says more about you and your ambition as an Everton fan that you seem to like both
I am a realist.

I'm concerned we have to start again.
Look what happened when Silva came in

It went wrong fast. We wasn't stable.

But you started by caveating it with “apart from the 2 poor performances this season”. We can’t just put them aside to make it look better.

We have only won 1 of 4 when we have scored first this season. It’s a poor record so far this season.

I’m not putting anything aside. i’m sure if we counted up all the games from Dyche starting in which we went ahead and then how many we got results from it would probably show that his in game substitutions when we have a lead are not the disaster show people make them out to be.

That's due too Silva though, not only was he relatively inexperienced at the time he also has a fairly low ceiling as a manager and is incredibly stubborn. Silva is one of those guys who has an attacking mindset but his way of playing is great when it works but when it doesn't his teams tend to lose heavily due to him refusing to change anything. Fulham had something like 10+ games last season where they lost by 3 or more goals. He also nearly cost Gbamin his career.

Silva did ok when he came in, was let down by the board and owners, Brands wanted to keep him on, doing a fine job at Fulham. Who by the way play much better football than us
Did ok?

First 9 games 3 wins, 3 defeats, 3 loses.
Dyche 9 games 3 wins. 3 defeats, 3 loses.
Lost to milwall in the FA cup.

Both have 1.3 ppm

Dyche had a tougher run too.

I am not saying Dyche is better than Silva.
Silva was right manager, wrong time.

Dyche has lost 3 cup competitions in 12 months all at home v luton , Fulham and Southampton reserves for the record. The Milwall game we were turned over by the ref missing a blatant hand ball and a penalty to us

And you posted something 2 hours ago saying dyche has had no money,
So will take what you say with a big pinch of salt.

Forest won a game they weren’t trying to win
Absolute gold 😂😂😂😂

Strange to see you can't grasp the point I'm making here. Forest went there and had 30% possession and won the game. They didn't go there to dominate and take the game to Liverpool. They had less shots and less shots on target. Of course they were trying to win, but you do know how Nuno operates? Would you have him here? You can actually be defensive and execute a plan to win you know...

Inappropriate Behaviour

The more deathly dull the football is the better he likes it, seemingly, and the more likely he is to go to bat for the architect of that awful football. He's a weirdo.

We didn’t have 30% possession at home to Southampton’s reserves in the cup. We will be lucky to have 20% at anfield. They also had 5 shots and 3 on target
