Hard to judge him, as I reckon that club is in full on basket case mode. In some ways, it's a bit like Moshiri's Everton I reckon. As in too many cooks...

Since Malcolm Glazer died, his ownership of the club has been diluted between family members. Why on earth they've brought in Ratcliffe, other than they got a good financial deal, is beyond me.

So you've got Ratcliffe, then Ashworth, then a manager, and then this board of directors...

You forgot SAF on his £2m/yr. “Ambassador” role that allows him in to the dressing room whenever the mood takes him (& it does) destabilising the current manager. No wonder they’ve been a basket case more often than not since he stood down

I think if he keeps us up we can all thank him for doing a good job under terrible circumstances and then move him on.

He should always be remembered and appreciated for steadying the ship when the club was in an absolute mess.
