2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Did he? Weren't we only a couple places off relegation? Happy to be shown otherwise.
Ancelotti took us on when we were lower down the league, closer to relegation places and with less games left to play.

Think allardyche got us on 15 points from 14 games,
Carlo we were on 19 points from 18.

Both got us to 49 points. Allardyce with 1.41 ppg, Carlo with 1.66ppg.

Allardyce spent £50m to do so. Carlo spent £0.

Yet Allardyce gets talked about as if he saved us but that’s never mentioned for Carlo.

When Dyche took us over we had 15 from 20. He also spent £0. And got us 1.16ppg. That genuinely did keep us up.

And he should have been thanked and moved on.

Yeah think the comparisons between Allardyce and Dyche are massively unfair. Everyone seems in agreement that we need to move on once the takeover is completed.

Allardyce had a better squad than Carlo and Carlo than Dyche should certainly play a role in this judgement.

Not comparing the 3 managers on their indiviudal ability, where Carlo is by far the best of all of them.

Hes a fun guy to have a go at, but hes a decent manager.

Big Sam, Dyche, Moyes...all good coaches. If they weren't, they wouldn't manage in the league and get teams into Europe.

They're just not glamorous and seen as "regressive" to ridicule. The biggest thing fans don't like is to be seen as small time and taken the urine out of.

Moyes is levels better than either of Allardyce or Dyche. And his football was a damn sight better than either of them.

“Get teams into Europe” 😂. Allardyce did it once, 20 years ago. Dyche did it once.

Moyes has done it several times with multiple clubs.

There’s a reason Moyes led the New Manager Poll.

Wasn't talking about them against each other, I was talking about perceptions.

Moyes "levels" is winning a trophy with West Ham and the fans absolutely hating his "brand" of football, turned on him, now got a flashy Spanish name in. That's the perception.

And Burnley and Bolton shouldn't be getting into Europe with what they had at the time.

They spent a fortune under Allardyce so much so it nearly crippled the club when he left hence their decline.
