2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Well, everyone here (including me).

Sometimes I feel that a few of us have never played team sports before, at any level.

He's not offering commentary, he's being positive for his teammates.

He trains with them everyday, he can tell them in person.

The fans watch these games, what he is saying doesn’t add up compared to the results and performances.

I get it, they want to try and keep an upbeat narrative, Coleman ended up being ridiculed for it.

The bit you posted is one section of an interview. He talks about how we need to get better and how they're disappointed to not win, but they're putting the effort in and sticking together as a team and that's a positive. It's just a generic stock answer to a question after the game by a bloke who, with the best will in the world, isn't exactly Einstein. I really don't know what you're expecting of him.

I’m expecting nothing of him. He’s a good goalkeeper and I like him, that’s it.

Absolute state of people criticising Pickford…
Form table last six games correlates with what he is saying.

He is a professional and one of the leaders in the team. If he isn’t happy he isn’t going to come out publicly slating the manager and criticising what’s happening.
exactly that . It’s a fan favourite , first teamer saying a few positive words about effort .

It’s probably illustrative to think that if dyche was sacked he’d be like everyone else in the squad saying how the new manager had really improved the fitness and suddenly there was a positivity around the place .

I like Pickford and there seems to be nothing wrong with what he said but I don’t think it tells us much about anything really .
