2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Not what I said is it. I've explained my reasoning. I didn't want him sacked then, and he's not getting sacked yet, so I know we're all rooting for him to keep his job by picking up some results going forward.
No John we have an inherent right to win games, regardless of the circumstances of the club, because of the spirit... Or something.... and NSNO.

Certainly not taking much notice of brentfords 0 points away this season. Their away games have been liverpool man city spurs man utd and fulham. They were beating fulham until injury time.
Like most teams and managers in this division they wont have to be that brave or courageous to beat predictable Everton.

I have a sneaky feeling we will win Saturday, a fools hope perhaps but you never know, we might even score more than two goals!

If you had zero points away from home and had your choices of places to break that hoodoo, then I reckon Goodison would be pretty near the top of that list. We broke Southampton's cherry and Brentford will be pretty confident of getting something here.

How many have Southampton not won before us 22 games I believe? We are prone to build teams up.

I would disagree with the last bit, one thing I’ve learned over the past 3/4 years is there is quite a few blues are happy to lose games to see if the manager gets sacked, same as quite a few are happy to be relegated just to prove they were right. They are gutted when they get proved wrong each season.

Its the nothing but the dyche game plan that doesnt ever change that gets up my nose. Occasionally it works. And then you'll get the perfect example of bournemouth this season where it worked until that pesky opposition manager had the nerve to change it and dyche was caught out like a rabbit in the head lights. Not only did he bring on the worst two players at the club for ball retention(doucoure & beto) when we needed to keep the ball, he left 3 players on the bench at 2-1 up when everyone else could smell what was happening. Stood there picking his nose oblivious to what was coming instead of trying to break up their momentum. And then proceeded to blame everyone else after the game.
Not that i'm bitter and hold a grudge about that game lol.
