2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I don't think it's necessary Everton.

It's a Dyche thing.

@blueboy72 would defend Lampard to the hilt. Players fault. We'd not spent enough. We need to give someone 3/4 years.

For some reason - none of that applies to Dyche.
I never said it was Everyone’s fault bar the manager , that’s you and the dychette’s
Yes at the time I was happy with lampard, because his philosophy was 2023 not the 70’s ultimately he wasn’t good enough and rightly sacked, but moving forward a young progressive manager who plays a modern style with young, fast, hungry players and actually tries to win games and actually gets the ground invested surely every fan in here wants that. That’s my hope with TFG and the new board and sporting team.

Why it gods name, would anyone want to watch this archaic, horrible football. If dyche is here 6 months or 6 years nothing changes, the same plan, style and set up, to try and draw games. Who wants to go to BDM and watch us sit back against teams like Fulham and palace, booting it long, hoping to nick a point. Also we’ve gone from one of the youngest teams to now the oldest in 2/3 years again you want blame dyche for this, it will be everyone else’s fault. But this is what you get with him, he wanted. Trippier and Phillips in the summer.

An asset stripped squad, held together with pipe cleaners, 40 year old right backs, 35 year old centre mids rejoining to replace themselves years later. Zero net spend for about 5 years, a 25m championship striker on Klarna and a handful of hopeful loans - what does anybody see here?!?

Just shouting ‘we’re Everton though’ doesn’t make crap players any better. Christ it’s near enough as bad as peak Walter Smith this.

I figure it's easier to process/cope to just put it on whoever the manager is.

At least we can look forward with a bit of optimism. New owners. Money will have to be spent. And even those who acknowledge the problems at Everton beyond Dyche will no doubt say they look forward to a manager who can progress us with that new owner/investment

Woah woah hang on, I thought we had a manager that was good at overachieving with poor players?!?
Where did we finish last year?

I don’t see your point on that one? Dyche will rightly go at the end of the season and we’ll hopefully get the big reset we all want but please objectively look at this squad and realise what it is.
