2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

You defending Lampard the week before Sean Dyche come in;

We've not spent a bean mate, so we're at the bold bit.

It's rinse and repeat, until there's new ownership and investment.
We've sold 2 players he didn't want in Onana and Gray, and a player who was running down his contract in Iwobi.

Over that time he's had, at his disposal, 3 strikers (with a 4th just been added), 4 wingers/attacking midfielders (however you want to describe them), a developed centre back who teams are jumping over themselves to get, and a £15m centre back. Not to mention he's brought back the donkey back into the fold

8 (9 if you include Donkey) additional attacking options have been brought into that squad and yet, we still play aimless long ball with no attacking style or pattern.

Yet somehow that's not on him to find ways of utilising these players to make us like we have any idea what to do in the final 3rd. These international footballers are that bad that the Sean Dyche is unable to conjure up a single style to make us look remotely dangerous.

It gets better when you watch any of them play internationally and they can actually pass the ball forward on the ground, or make runs on the wings. That's also not because of Dyche in any way though, of course.

You're again putting it all on Dyche, contrary to your repeated points the week before he rocked up.

We've not spent any money.

The only Prem team to not spend on every window under Sean Dyche.

This is from 2021-2025.

Thread has been brilliant today. Had some good laughs. ;)

Definitely not as many people supporting Dyche any more though. That 11 v 10 men draw might have been the final straw for a few i think.

Regardless of all that though, lets hope that we pick some points up in this ruthless run we have coming up because we don't want to be in the relegation zone no matter who is in charge.

Cool picture mate.

Shame that £60m was from a player he didn't want in Onana, £25m from a Moise Kean, £9m for a winger he didn't trust in Gray and £25m from a player who was running down his contract in Iwobi

Maybe if we kept them players he'd somehow try to play something that didn't involve hitting the ball 60 yards and hoping for the best

The headline is Everton's position on it. If I had the same graph made since your post in Jan 23, I think Everton would be bottom.

We're still in the death spiral you referred to under Lampard, the week before Dyche come in. That doesn't change until there's new owners and investment.

We also have 13 senior player contracts expiring this summer.
