2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Hugely important.

Here's that context.

We're still the basketcase we were January 2023.
He kept us up season 1 when we were universally wrote off as down.
We've then had to sell and make a profit every window since.
We've had successive point deductions.
We're still relegation fodder.
We won't replace Dyche until TFG are in.
We won't kick on as a club until there's new ownership, and investment.
Fans are putting too much blame on the symptom, and not cause of Everton's misery.
Everton were circling the drain long before Sean Dyche and have done nothing to help that.

Stating the above, isn't "going all in on Sean Dyche"

Just like asking fans to get behind him, wasn't.
Ah, so time and context is only important when someone agrees with you completely, if they've changed their view to something you disagree with it's a club used to disingenuously beat someone with.

Not at all. Changing opinions and having an open mind is a good thing.

I routinely revisit commentary immediately prior to Dyche to provide that context you crave and to demonstrate how, perhaps, it all isn't on the manager.

Who I would be keen on, too... not sure I want him coming in firefighting, though. I would rather he picked the reigns under new ownership and a blank canvass bit of money to spend and new owners at the helm
Why carsley he’s hardly been a manager and if he had no connection to the Everton he wouldn’t be getting mentioned. Let’s for once in our lives think outside the box

Not saying it’s my first choice. But that for me would be out of the box.
He is a highly regarded coach long before the England job came along. His next move is an upwardly mobile championship club or a down on their luck premier league. And he does have a link with the club.

We’ve seen plenty of good coaches bomb as managers. The link bit doesn’t wash with me , the think is is more likely he gets a championship job so if he does well we
Could easily take him in 3yrs, a lot more better options out there at moment

Maybe he stalked account Roy Keane's account, got caught and got on his wrong side?
Beardo.webp

He looked like a complete nutter when he grew that beard!

And he still is one! 😲

If we let Moyes go to Leicester now we are really shooting ourselves in the foot. He is by far the best available in our situation and failure to recruit him would leave us in massive trouble.

The squad we have could work with him and his experience of the league is second to none. He wouldn't take too long to fit in either. I think he needs to be recruited urgently to give the club the very highest chance of staying up. And also in not strengthening a direct rival

Just no for me, because 12-18 months we will want him out again.

Lets go with non PL or Everton related manager, someone with a bit of surprise element about them.
Someone whos managerial career is heading in the right direction not someone who has been fired almost every job they've been in after 2 years.

Someone we can all as a fan base get behind, not the likes of Dyche Moyes Benitez Allardyce, these type of managers are done in the modern game.

Lets get someone who has us looking forward to going to the game or watching us on tv.
