2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I will make it into a trip to see family too..

I haven’t seen is live since Wolfsburg 4-1 with Martinez ..

I wasnt to see our new home once it’s built … I’m just going to have to wait for dyche to be sacked first though
Probably wise mate. It’s a really cool city for a weekend but I personally couldn’t get stuck on Queens Drive for an hour before I can even think about making tracks home after yet another 0-0/ gutless loss/play for a draw/couldn’t make a 5 yard pass ever again.

Literally the best memories I have are from getting food or milling around the City with my old man rather than the game itself

We do look in serious trouble. We have an extremely difficult run coming up and he can't even score against 10 men. Yes we are good defensively but only at the detriment of the attack. We look like we can't hit a barn door

I think how poor the teams around us are saves us again. Even under Dyche I feel like we'll scrape enough points together to fight another day.

The January he come in, you'd have considered Everton staying up a success for Dyche.

Last season, you'd have considered survival to be the objective. Even before the point deduction.

Dyche achieved both.

Sure, 12 games in this season we've been very poor. But then my expectations before a ball was kicked was to stay outside the bottom 3 come new ownership/January because, well, nothing had changed on the previous years. I wasn't convinced we'd improved the team, certainly not to the extent to resolve lack of goals.

Dyche doesn't deserve the scorn and abuse he gets from fans on this forum and social media. Especially given we all know he's on borrowed time an will be replaced when new owners come in.

He come in to do a job. Keep us afloat until new owners. Very nearly job done.

The sad thing is I don't feel your optimism on this, this next run of fixtures he will lose the players as there has been evidence of that now, and the fans are probably 1 game away from voicing their feelings.

anyway it's all irrelevant because as soon as the new owners get the keys Dyche is history, there is no way anyone with a tiny bit of knowledge on football sticks with him

We're bang in trouble.

3 seasons on the spin averaging 41 points before this one.

We just can't score the goals we need. Again. We tried to address that by signing Lindstrom and NDiaye? Never enough.

Have to spend and spend well in January.

As much as I hate to say this, but what Slot is doing over the park shows that with proper coaching and tactics can do for a team, limited ability or not, that lot over there could not do what they did to madrid tonight when Kloop was there, they also would not be that far ahead in the league, as they seem unstoppable at the moment with the same players as last season, just being coached different with different tactics.

So all this Dyche is doing fantastic with our players and getting the best out of them. Do me a favour, a proper manager who has something about them would have us mid table at least

Mid table with these mid table players?

No, can't be having that line of thought mate, only our miracle worker can achieve the impossible here with Everton.

a manager with a plan and that doesn’t say “don’t concede”

huge upgrade

A better manager would definitely have us picking up more points. But I'm also sure a better manager would be looking to move plenty of the players on the first chance he had.

I think you could give Dyche £200m to spend and we'd still see Dwight McNeil start every game. That right there just shows his limitations. He just can't think past what he's known throughout his whole career.

I pay over £600 a year to watch that slop he calls 'football' and for some reason put myself through watching every away game.

He deserves every last bit of abuse he gets and more for what we have to sit through and endure. Put as many excuses as you want out for him, the state of the football he produces isn't good enough.

I can only assume the very small minority who actually back him don't suffer any loss other than their eyes bleeding watching the tv.

Don’t hate saying it , It needs to be said , the only way some take notice in this fan base is if it’s something to do with them lot.

They are a few minutes walk from us yet do so much better than us every year . None of these so called local journalists and media fans will say that or openly discuss as to why and I don’t care how many awards/nominations they get or how pally with the club or a with a player they are. It’s a f’kn joke.

I really hope whoever takes over are the ones to change all this for the better , culture, excuses etc.

I respect people who say how it is, even if I might not like it, there’s not enough of that at Everton inside or around it.

7 wins since last December, you name me a club or fan base with any self respect who would back that or try to limit criticism of it.

And we get these arl arses saying Goodison is toxic. No wonder! it’s garbage ! Add on top of that years of being let down! what is the excuse for all the appalling away games then?

I don’t think a kopite would do as good a job as what’s transpired here.

I have a season ticket too mate.

It doesn't entitle me to anything or make my view any more important than anyone else.
