2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Did I say that?? No

I said I wouldn’t indulge you because your mind is set in that only when teams don’t keep clean sheets is when players do not want to play for a manager

Was just one example. How about ending a run of defeats, which I've mentioned? It's just my opinion mate, I am entitled to it, I don't believe he's lost them, and the clean sheets is just one reason for that.

Not sure why you're being so hostile about it. If you've got a good source that's saying "at least 5 players are unhappy" then I'm sure we'd all love to hear it.

I mean, you’ve gone around in circles

Hi Ste, who replies to me more than any other person on this site.

Please confirm the following:
How does saying “I don’t care what you believe” have any relevance to post count in a thread??

Ill be waiting
I find you fascinating Chris. Is that such a crime?

You evidently do care what people believe, because every post you make is in reference to people like John, who are seeking to find nuance in a situation.

I'm not going round in circles. My opinion is that he hasn't lost the players, at least not the majority of them. I've outlined the reasons why I think that's not the case and I stand by my opinion.

You're entitled to disagree, but if you're gonna make claims when doing so, it would be nice if you could back them up. If it's just your opinion that at least 5 of them are unhappy, then it's okay to say so...

Because this is the Sean Dyche thread.

You made a post, in the Sean Dyche thread about me, yet again, all to try and seek the approval of those around you.
Am I engaging in a thread the wrong way? Why is the reply button available if I'm only allowed to speak to those who talk to me directly?

Just admit it it Chris, it's freedom, we all have an ego. That's why I'm here on a Saturday night arguing with an absolute stranger on the internet.

You might be right. I think he's done just about enough to save himself for now, since he was nearly done for at HT v Palace.

I hope you're not right though. We can't just sleepwalk until the new owners come in, and I'm not putting a timescale on when they will arrive, because I just don't know. I'm still not even 100% certain it will be completed. How could I be?
2 wins out of 12 is not enough to save himself mate. On the contrary, he would have already been sacked by any other club. You even said yourself before the last game that anything less than 3 points and you would be done with him. We got 1 point against 10 men and here you are still backing him. You could do with a pair of flip flops.

The reason i think Moshiri wont sack him until the takeover is complete has nothing to do with his performance. If you are Moshiri and you know TFG will be the owners in a couple of weeks, why would you pay a couple of million pound or whatever the pay off is and also have the hassle of finding an interim when the club wont even be yours any more shortly. You just wouldn't do it no matter how bad he is doing. TFG probably wouldn't want him to make any serious changes either considering how bad the club has been ran. They will sort everything out themeslves when they are in which will hopefully be very soon.

I think you're missing the point I made about since HT against Palace. He was close to the sack then, but since then he's bought some time. He's left with little room for error now though.

I don't see how you think I've flip flopped. I actually said I'd stop posting for a while - at my own discretion might I add - if we lost, and that defeat would be unacceptable, regardless of circumstances, because he'd left himself no room for error with the poor start. Last time I checked, we didn't lose.

You might be right about him not getting sacked. It's typical of the mess we've been in, and that in turn is why I don't think it's fair to lay all of the blame on the manager. I've only ever tried to be fair to him, and if my standards of staying clear of the drop zone are low, then that's because of what Mr Moshiri has done to this club.
