2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Ye and Lampard was a card carrying tory but everybody just shouted NICE GUY at me when I said that. Stick to beat Dyche with, but Lampard 'nice guy, just didn't work for him'
Benitez, Lampard and Dyche are all terrible. Who cares which one of then is marginally better than the others. They are three managers who should have never been anywhere near this club and show how deep the structural problems at the club go. Baiting people to say they prefer Dyche to some other dreadful coaches is really weak sauce, as the Yankees say.

Literally have to motivate myself to go each week, absolutely turgid to watch,it's worse than the FSW,Allardyce,Mike Walker,Lampard, added to the fact he comes across as an arrogant it's my way or no way type of numpty too.
My lad is desperate to get to Goodison before it closes. So got tickets to the City match. At least he’ll see a few goals flying in!

Never said you did. I'd just prefer substance over style at this juncture.

Not taking the wallpaper down just yet. Don't know about you, but I'm hoping he can save his job by getting some results.
I want us to win, I always want us to win, but him saving his job is the last thing on my mind.

If your hoping he can do that mate, I think your going to be disappointed, as that ship has well sailed even if we pick up in form - he’s totally failed the audition.

TFG would be nuts to keep him.

I just mean in the short term mate. I know fully well he's not here next season.

Teams tend to switch off once they want a manager sacked. We've seen it many, many times. Here and at other clubs.

No way we turn that early season form around if they wanted him sacked. He'd have been sacked if we lost to Palace and Leicester. Impotent board or not, they'd have been forced to act if we took 0 points from that first 5 games.

Anyone fancy a faustian pact?

Where he bores the living daylights out of us for the season but gets enough moody wins to see us comfortably safe with no dramas.

Before unceremoniously firing into the hinterlands of just promoted clubs looking for a relegation saviour via THE BIGGEST FREAKING CANNON FRIEDKIN CAN AFFORD?
That's how I see this season going to be honest.

Harsh to include Dyche with them 2. Two of worse managers in our history compared to someone, who if keeps us up, has literally done the job he was employed to do, done about par for squad he has.

it’s the fans that do and the owners will do it
rightly so

I fully expect the new owners to get their own man. Dyche could win the next 6 on the bounce, but as soon as there was a spell of bad form, they'd give him the boot anyway. It's what new owners do.

Anyway, they're not here yet, and I'm not convinced they sack him on day one either btw. Saying that though, he needs to be sacked if we don't get at least 3 points from the next 2.

They have been very active during this approval period and i think there is a strong possibility they will have sorted their manager out too tbh. I cannot imagine they would ever see Dyche as the man to take their project forward. I think he will be gone not long after they get in no matter what he does now. They don't mess around with inconsistent Managers these guys.
