2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Who keeps selecting those same players that scuff the rare chances we have and does nothing to alter the composition for a player to be able just put in a cracker shot even if doesn't come off there would be a ricchochet a player in an advanced position could take advantage of but we usually don't have numbers when we attack or close on goal

So who should he have selected from the box of magic players they Dyche is refusing to open?

his record is utter appalling

which has seen other managers lashed

be will be soon

You realise sooner or later he is leaving. Doesn’t mean he hasn’t done a good job.
So you agree with him having 2 goalkeepers on the bench ? Why not play one of the kids and become a little more progressive. People wonder why our youngsters get off first chance they get and then them youngsters see 2 goalkeepers on the bench and must think why stay. He is the most unimaginative manager we've ever had. The last 3 or 4 results have been good, but sooner or later we are going to have to turn some of these draws to wins.
maybe he thinks he needs adults around the place at the minute. There is a lot to play for. Non of the youth players have a pray of coming through or are quite immature.
End of the day I can see no player left out the squad that enhances the team.

But maybe you think we should give some youngster a day out and that gives you a stick to beat Dyche with despite getting a good result?

I'll level with you. People are shouting about the wins; Im not even that bothered about "wins" when we are getting decent results in the form of draws. Chelsea, Man City and Arsental and we haven't been beat.I reckon we have a poor team, with no goal threat, and our best way to secure points to be in the Premier League without the ability to invest in quality is to make us difficult to beat.

I can tell you now, there is no one in the squad that we can rely on to regularly pop up with goals... (if I am wrong tell me who?)

So if we played more expansive football with this squad with fluff, more chances than we would take - look at the chances we had to win against Chelsea and Man City; the opposition would also get more chances than us and likely score some.
More expansive football would be likely to result in more losses. Fact, and very few wins. We would get relegated.

Anyone that thinks differently, think about that first few games under Lampard's shackles off caught Brentford and Leeds unaware, but after that, we became weaker and weaker once teams worked out. We had such a poor threat that was predictable.

Until we invest in this squad I am think Dyche has got the best tune this instrument can play.
That’s all well and good except your missing one key fact.

Dyche teams DO NOT score goals, this is a fact, he managed more games than his team have scored goals. It’s to do with him and his tactics/training methods. No elite manager should have that statistic. He has a PL win % of 27% and a loss % of 49% he is a very bad manager. An 3 draws do not suddenly make him a good manager

Morning mike. You are a golfer?

Had a good round last season. He's playing to his handicap this season but I recon he showing sign of doing better moving forward. This season, he is also playing with a driver and a seven iron that are refusing to commit to the bag next season. His putter he got off his nan and is 100 years old. A lot of his other clubs are things he bought from a second-hand shop just so he has enough clubs to play with.

If he got a brand new set of clubs in January, he might be expected to play better.
The second hand clubs and 100 year old putter would be used to hit below par when a better golfer got them in his hands.

3 draws don’t make him a good manager, but surely keeping us season 1, and season 2 show he is an excellent choice of manager for teams with no investment, limited squad and lack of talent.
Dyche is elite in this micro league that we are in. He is getting the results we need to stay a float and get us to the new stadium.
Playing to his strengths? Coaching them clean sheets takes effort on the training field.
Would you put more faith in Pickford, brathwaite and tarks or Out of contract injury prone DCL and Beto?

You don’t have to enjoy the football but you can acknowledge that we were looking for a manager in a crisis situation where the wheels could have fallen off… and he has stepped up and kept us competitive. Worked with negative squad investment, kept us as a premier league club.

How can you be elite at anything, you’ve failed twice at

Did say handicap, which is different.

No one is against better manager coming in. But no one has told me a name who this would be.

Just think Dyche is playing his inferior clubs ok.
I don't think it's up to us to decide who will replace him, the new owners will hopefully do due diligence and appoint well. For what it's worth I think he's done very well with what we have of late, but we've reached the limit of where we can go with Dyche. I'm pretty sure 99.9% of posters would be of this view.

Well none of know this, because it’s not our decision, but it’s not really that difficult to find a better one

The old saying bad workman and all that
I’ve never known a manager to have so many people making excuses for him

We have reached the limit of where we can go with this level of investment.
Dyche, and every other manager you are incapable of naming would struggle year on year.
Investment is needed before a manager.

No I didn't say that last bit, you just made that up haven't you..:) Two goalkeepers on the bench solves nothing mate, we need to score more goals, maybe a new face might do just that. Dyche in my view is far too negative, not saying we just sack him but I definitely wouldn't be renewing his contract.
