2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I think he fits the criteria for my personal nemesis, I can't escape the ginger menace he torments me weekly at my abode and in the community with agony inducing footy footage the u.s military could effectively use to interrogate detainees at guatinmo bay that I don't think would be covered under the Geneva convention, he never alters anything except his excuses, his football has made me nod off more than a character from transpotting and his dumb memes saturate the internet amd he makes me remember that michael keane is still somehow considered a professional footballer so yeah he's my personal adversary which elicits at least one hostile tangent dedicated to his crap football and flem soaked fingers , buy some losages you make 5 million pounds a year
Apart from that Mrs Lincoln, did you enjoy the play ?

Agree with all of that but I wonder if we see a different Jack Harrison, like the one that done so well at Leeds, if he was higher up the pitch and not made in to a secondary full back in this Dyche system which is in essence a back 4 with 2 wingbacks.

That's a good question, he's suited in a pressing system like Bielsa. But I also think he would struggle in a Nuno or Iraola team that have in principle and theory a similar idea to play as quickly as possible. These teams to be number 1,2,3 at offsides in the league show that intent.

You are reliant to have these Hudson Odois, Semenyo or Ndiaye that can double the flanks and move on quickly. He's in an age now, you cannot learn cleverness anymore, because he hits so many wrong decisions as well.

It's one thing to move him up more, but he gets outpaced every time by CBs or Full backs.

And a minority that want the 17th placed DVD released so they can enjoy their messiah Dyche in all his glory...

Crap manager, not PL standard and moreover I`d be very very worried if TFG saw this guy as the man to take us beyond January and allowing him to influence the transfer window, we don`t need more "Dyche Type" players.

It will be very telling if they do, as I`ve said before I wouldn`t be surprised if they left Dyche to keep Everton bobbing along in the PL while they focused on Roma, don`t forget they tell Roma fans Everton will not impact them, perhaps that is because Roma is the priority.
The premier league is the place to be and the Italian league is streets behind and There’s no signs of it catching up ,
Rumours of them selling Roma,
Which wouldn’t surprise me in
The future

You don`t think that Dyche spending £50m since last season we should be improving? If not that`s fine but why do our fans lambast managers like Guardiola and Mourinho for buying success when this is the only argument for keeping Dyche is he will improve when he spends money?

In over 2 years he hasn`t coached any player to be better than what they were, totally the opposite, most players are now worse than when Dyche come in... I will include Branthwaite in that because under a better manager this guys ceiling is higher than it is now and to suggest otherwise would mean you don`t believe he is a generational talent.
We have spent 50m? 😂😂

He's indeed and certainly benefits from having better individual quality to set up for him like Hudson Odoi, Gibbs White or Elanga, but getting over 10 goals in a Dyche team in 4 consecutive seasons shows that a player must have a bit of quality at least.

What's your opinion on DCL? It's hard to be striker in a Dyche team, no doubt. But I've seen enough that coaching cannot be the only issue there.
I’ve never been a huge fan of DCL, but he has strengths that dyche obviously doesn’t play to. I think he would have more than 2 goals in every other prem team bar probably Southampton.

I think an average bottom half side can become a top 10 side with a Couple of good attacking full backs, which is the modern way and also helps your wide players. And give the opposition something more to think about, ours go
Forward rarely and when they do it’s half hearted, our wide players are easy to defend against, which doesn’t help anyone especially DCL

No chance are they having Everton "bobbing along" nothing about them or group suggest this will be the case for any of their interests. They very much target "upper middle clash" pockets...

Which begs the question why are they leaving this manager in place who will finish 16th/17th at best and hope we don`t get dragged in to deeper trouble than that?

If we are numero uno why are they letting this club drift along exactly like the Moshiri years? Doesn`t make sense.... We aren`t and they are happy for us to just bob along under a manager with no ambition apart from staying up every year.

TFG released a good statement BUT actions speak louder than words, another of their quotes, shows their ambition leaving a truly woeful manager in position.

They aren`t going to be ruthless, just new owners saying what we want to hear. If they had ambition and a ruthless streak they would never accept the horrific numbers Dyche has been pulling for a few years now.

Ultra consistent. Thanks Gaffer
