2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Would be nice one day to have an Everton manager that unites us, makes us feel confident and excited in where it’s heading and that they can deliver it.

If it’s possible.
I honestly don’t think there would be many fans who wouldn’t fully get behind the appointment of Lee Carsley.

Ticks a lot of boxes. Commended for his coaching, man management skills, something to prove as a manager and seems a calm and well thought of individual.

I’d 100% buy into that.

Mike walker spent 3.3m on amokachi, 2m plus on samways. And bought in Brian burrows ffs. Also got Ferguson on loan.
All big signings at the time. Amo broke the club record.
Barmby was bought in for record fee of £5.75 million under HK.
Walter smith was given big money on Colin’s, dacourt, mazzarati, and bakayoko. Agains one the seasons biggest spenders.
Dyche is the only one that was screwed for transfers.

Don’t even know what you are babbling about sunshine.
Joe royle bought Barmby, yes peter Johnson gave some money to smith but quickly took it back, look at debt on spending and it wouldn’t have been massive over the 4yrs he was in charge and probably 4/5 other teams were spending a lot more at that time . Utd, Liverpool, arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Leeds etc

Exactly the same as Steve Cooper who also achieved with England, for me the exact same risk to appoint a guy in his 50s who has never managed day to day in any top flight league.

I think he means that at the moment with the new ownership and stadium, the club has a lot going for it in terms of attracting talent.
But lots of creative players would swerve playing under Dyche.
Seeing what's happened to Jake O'Brien, they dont even have to be creative players.
What would you do with Jake O'Brien?
which one of Tarkowski or Branthwaite would you drop?
