2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

He's only good enough to manage and keep club's in danger of relegation free from that danger.

FFS he's leaving in 5 months time.

You'd think he'd just been handed a 5 year extension.

Utter children demanding the expulsion of a manager for a defeat...the third in 12 games, btw.
You know very well that many of us have wanted him to be sacked for a long time. I’ve sometimes doubted your “support” of our club. This kind of crap makes me doubt you more.

We've got a relegation squad, we've had points deductions, he kept us up when we were doomed to fail.

We're a basketcase of a club with a toxic fanbase and uncertain financial conditions. Nobody will touch us.

It’s no more toxic a fan base than other clubs. Aston Villa fans stayed away back in 2016, Spurs hounded out todays Forest manager after only a handful of months and there was a tunnel entrance incident with their current manager and fans a few weeks ago after they lost to Ipswich .

I’d like to see how some fan bases would handle the crap that’s happened here, the club are lucky more people didn’t react to that headlock disgrace.

And they are also lucky the fans turn out in the numbers they do. Imagine what gets said if they stopped paying and attending in substantial numbers?

The atmosphere at Goodison is a reflection of what the club has been allowed to become by many people. The fans are not the ones being paid to do a job at Everton.

Shat the bed against Bournemouth where we outplayed them for 70 minutes and then forgot to make subs as he watched on as our players were visibly and clearly exhausted. That was the game he tried something different, it worked but then he fluffed his lines and showed an appalling lack of game management as he watched 5 fresh Bournemouth players constantly attack our open and exhausted defence and did nothing, NOTHING. He told us after the game he could “smell” it… He still had 3 subs he could have made when they went 3-2 up.

Every fan since that game has been “smelling” Sean’s nonsense ever since. In the bin ya coward.

If he showed he could improve performances and / or results through coaching that set of players what makes you think he couldn’t improve our performances and results?

I’m not suggesting he would have us second btw or that I even want him but an example of good coaching is evident - most good coaches can take tjose transferable skills anywhere and apply that to any group of players admittedly with varying results.

The point I was making was it’s possible to coach better results and performances out of our existing squad but some people (not saying you) think it’s nigh on impossible for our group of players to be moulded into a more effective, functioning outfit.

I think that’s the crux of a lot of the disagreement in this thread. McKenna likewise - hitting a ceiling at the moment and likely to go back down but coached a core group of the same players up through two divisions
They recently spent 400 mil mate
He had a huge and expensively put together failing squad to pick from.

We have sold our best players that have left us with a threadbare squad & some real dirge.
He would not coach regular starters such as Mykolenko, Harrison , Mcneil , Doucoure or even want away striker DCL into being better players.

Anyways we are getting way off topic here , Dyche has to go straight away and some real football players brought in for a complete change of philosophy with a new manager.
That time is now.

That was the game and it STILL hurts. Incredible capitulation.
